Vincent sighed, "Well, I guess I'm on. Athens is boring anyways." Vincent did not particularly need a jacket. As a half-Vampire, he naturally liked the cold. Made it easier for to traverse cold nights and hide in dank dark places during the day, "But as I said, if I'm coming, I need stuff flown in from my home. Clothes, a toothbrush, standard traveling stuff really. I'm sure PRIO can manage that... and you already know where I live." Vincent began to ponder what exactly was making these people disappear, It has to be something that can throw off psychics... or maybe they have some sort of artifact that can do that. Maybe it was some crazy cultists. But, than again, people leave traces. Whatever it is also must be able to interrupt technology, since the satellites can't track it... suddenly, a question came to mind. "Do the disappearances have any rhyme or reason? Are they in the same area? Do they follow some sort of path?"

"Vincent is right." Jack said. "There's got to be more to this than random dissapearances." Jack thought back into his army days. "When we wanted to move or hide something without people noticing, we would cause a series of smaller distractions to draw the enemies attention." He started pacing back and forth in heavy thought. "If nothing comes up on scans... and phsycics can't see anything at all, maybe its sucking in? Nothings reflecting back because its all getting absorbed. Like stealth tech to radars. Only higher tech and scale."

(Why would they cause distractions AND cause a large black hole that's highly noticable) Rinn asked. Jack paced more at the thought. "Maybe they don't notice it." Jack pondered. "I have a feeling something went very wrong while digging something up. Corporations looking for ancient artifacts comes to mind." Jack looked up at the Banshee. "What's more sexy than Money AND Power?" He said with a grin.

"An area surrounded by snow and mountains, id bet money its a dig site!" Jack heard the kreitan talk about clothing. "Already in the requisitions. As well as survival gear and a dead drop full of weapons with an UV light beacon to spot it with NVG's that's Night Vision Goggles for those who don't know." Gesturing toward the Ghoul. "Which brings me to my next question. Anybody have any training or skills in combat? I noticed that sword of yours Eden, but can you effectively use it?" He said in a teasing, yet serious tone.

The old man's everpresent smile persisted, as he spoke. "I'll see to it that your thing from Athens are here upon your return Mr. Knowles, and if there was any pattern to these disappearances, we wouldn't need all of you." He turned to the young woman at his side that had been behind the window in the waiting room. "See to it that their requests are met to the best of your abilities my dear." She nodded and just vanished, a small wisp of black smoke where she had been. "Now if you would follow me, you really must be going, we must be hasty in this endeavor." He turned and led the group to a nearby staircase.

Elizabeth followed the old man immediately, he led the group up a flight of stairs far longer than she would have liked. Eventually though they reached the top, and he opened the door at the top. The cold Canadian air swept into the building, and she was instantly chilled, looking out she was greeted by a rare sight, though sadly not something she was unfamiliar with. That had become a true rarity over the years. A solid white Boeing Osprey, she questioned both why it was white, and why PRIO needed Ospreys. "You know, helicopters cost alot less" She remarked to the old man. He just nodded in acknowledgement of her remark and smiled. She turned back to the Osprey and standing in front of it was the young woman from the waiting room, except now she was wearing a parka. "All of the requests have been accommodated, I hope they are to your liking!" She spoke with the enthusiasm of a young dog trying to please it's master. Elizabeth suddenly thought of something, in all the time they had spoken to this man, noone had asked his name, they were about to help a man who they couldn't even identify. "So, if we're about to be doing your dirty work, shouldn't we know your name?"

The old man nodded and spoke "Bernard, Bernard Davis. Administrator of the Toronto Branch of PRIO. Now if you have no more questions, you really should be getting on your way."

"Well than, I suppose we should get going," Vincent stated. He continued, replying to Elizabeth's remark. "Ya'know, Elizabeth, to be fair, Ospreys are pretty cool," as Vincent said that, he began walking up the ramp, taking a seat in one of the many wall-attached chairs lining the side of the... cargo bay, he supposed, was the appropriate term. He reached into his back pocket, withdrawing his weapon. He ejected the magazine from the pistol, ensuring that it was fully loaded. It was. He also reached back and gave his back pocket a pat to ensure his spare was still with him. Satisfied, Vincent reloaded the clip and put his weapon back in it's place. He than reached into his front pocket, removing his phone. He was one of those guilty of going out and waiting in line to get the latest and greatest cellphone even when his old one was hardly a year old- but than again, when you have the money, why not? He pulled out a pair of earbuds, and started to listen to music. He anticipated a long flight, and he didn't want to be caught in the between of any Nephilim-Demon arguments. Although he doubted that if it came down to it, he'd have a choice.

"An Osprey can travel farther and faster than any heli. Can handle tough weather much better too." Jack commented to Liz. "Ever get stuck in a snowstorm on a heli? Not fun." He shook his head remembering his old days in the Army. He rembered talking to a pilot once who often flew both types. More expensive to fix and not as nimble. Classic tradeoff...

"Are we going straight to the dropsite or meeting up with another team first?" Jack was curious. Surely the old man wasn't planning to drop a handful of para's and expect a miracle. (This old man is not telling us everything.) Rinn said through Jack. "When does a huge company actually TELL you everything?" Jack said sarcastically

A lot had gone on in a short time, the group that once look like it was going to rip the holy crap out of one another was taken to this others room, Of course Turi was more than happy to get out of that room as she was so tempted to rip the demon right out of the human possessed male. however and fortunately for him her attention was brought forward to the layout of this room they found themselves in and the blacked out globe that was there before them. They were greeted by another member of PRIO as they went on to explain the reason for bringing them here and of course the first place they wanted this team of misfits to go and check out.

The image was of a snowy town of Lunenburg which frustrated Turisia even more but decided not to really show it. 'Surely they must remember snow and Krentas don't mix' She thought to herself while listening out for all the other details and questions that was flying around. She knew PRIO was desperate now and made more sense her kind was noticing these strange disappearances to but kept it to themselves. Well it was probably best to find out what was going on there and this presented the best opportunity even if it was a snowy cold location.

Stopping the woman making the requests she needed for the winter gear for her to be comfortable in and of course keep her warm, Krentas always was sensitive to the cold winter weather conditions and this made no exception, she made sure it could accommodate her weapons and other small hidden items she had on her but made a list for PRIO to go and pick up from her home in the United States and not the paranormal one as the poor person going their would more than likely not return.

"Cold, I hate the cold" Turisia started. "Make the arrangements I ask for and I will agree to come on this mission and help find out what happened their, But you keep the Demon creature away from me if you want to avoid unwanted trouble" Turisia added hinting at the possessed man of course, She would never be able to trust a demon for they were and enemy of the Krentasians. " I will go and get myself ready to go on this VTOL you mention, If one of your subordinates can show to the correct room to get ready for that" She pointed out at the snowy image of the town. PRIO must be crazy or really desperate to send a Krentasian out in Winter weather.

Eden nodded when the old man said they had to be going. She agreed, if there was something they needed to do they’d best get started on it. She wasn’t looking forward exactly to going to this places where everyone disappeared, but she hoped they’d be able to help. She wrapped her scarf around her tightly and followed right after Elizabeth. She didn’t really notice how many stairs they were made to climb, having quite a bit of stamina thanks to her supernatural powers. She was grateful when they finally reached the top though. When they finally reached the roof, however, she attempted smiling though the wind chill caused her to look more like she was grimacing. She shivered, rubbing her arms, and looked over at the interesting aircraft. She had never seen such a thing… just your basic planes. When the girl from behind the glass said all their accommodations had been met, Eden almost ran up and hugged her. A heavy jacket was what she wanted more than anything while standing on this roof.

“Thanks, Bernard,” Eden smiled, waving to the old man and the helpful young woman before running into the aircraft and searching for something else to wear. In one of the seats she found a white snow suit with fur trim around the hood. She glanced over, seeing Vincent was already on board, but shrugged, taking off her skirt and slipping on the suit one leg at a time, then her arms, zipping up the front. She rubbed her hands together before finding the gloves in her pockets and slipping them on as well. She was smiling at this point, starting to feel warm again. She sat down in one of the seats, bending over to slip off her sandals and put on the boots that had been provided instead. She buckled herself in and sighed, not feeling too troubled about where they were going or what lay ahead. She had the utmost confidence, if not in the others, then at least her own abilities enough that she knew she’d be fine.

Max was very happy with the thought of eating, even if it had to be on an airplane. He was so happy in fact, he almost didn't notice the airplane until he was in it. It was a funny looking thing. An Osprey, the others were calling it. Max was kind of wondering how it would even fly. Surely that thing couldn't hold everyone! It probably wouldn't make it off the ground and then everyone would get to go home and Max would figure out a place to live in this country because he's never going to be able to fly back to his real home. But all of that would matter after eating.

Max slipped onto the supposed air vehicle that he wasn't quite sure could be called an airplane. It was too chilly to stand outside. Eden was dressed in furry clothes and Vampire Vinny was messing with a phone. The others were out there still, asking questions of sorts, he supposed. Why anyone would want to stand around out there was beyond him. But Max wasn't a complete idiot. He knew this was going to be dangerous (if they ever got to where they were going. Again, the airplane-that's-not-really-an-airplane might not even fly). Max would need protection other than his own teeth. So he figured that these tall, strong people might be able to help make sure Max doesn't die. Or rather, become un-undead. So, redie? Max doesn't remember. Was he already dead?

Not important. He can smell fresh food. Not alive fresh but freshly-dead fresh. So fresh it might not even have a smell to humans. He was certain he'd never had food so fresh. Usually he had to wait a few days until the deceased even made it to the cemetery and by then it was no where near this fresh.

He slid further down the walk until he saw the pile of organs that rested on a wooden slab of a broken coffin top, just like home. He picked it up from the seat it was on and moved over to sit next to the Eden girl. Max buckled himself in, rubbed his hands together and started rooting around for a gallbladder. Found one! He set it aside for last. Kind of like a mint at a restaurant, it's last.

Max turned to Eden as he started to make a game plan of what he was going to eat first. “I'm Max. You're Eden. I was...” Think... old lady... short, old, helpless lady... You can do this! You gotta! “... I was wondering if you would like to be friends? You said you wouldn't smite me, so I was kinda hoping...”

He took a bite of the liver. My god, that's really fresh! ...Maybe had a glass of champagne a day.

“You and Mr. Vinny over there with the phone could be my friends. People like to avoid me, you know?” Max set the liver aside and licked at the stomach. Ulcers. Maybe very stressed. He stuck a hand in the pile and found ovaries. That settled it. He took a quick bite of those. Juicy. Two to three kids, definitely. “But you seem nice. And Vinny, too.”

He dropped the half-eaten ovaries back into the pile and dug out the small intestine. He started slurping it up. When it was halfway down his throat, he tugged at the end still exposed to the air and it slid out back onto the plate. He smacked his lips. Not bad. Probably better the second time. So Max slurped the small intestine up again.
Who can resist the gentle smile of the invidious aristocrat?

I'd feed myself to Aragog's children for that Cup!

Eden’s eyes followed Max when he walked into the Osprey… she still wasn’t sure about that freaky ghoul. When he came and sat down next to her, with a pile of organs no less, she thought she was going to throw up. She turned to look out, away from him and the stench of flesh and blood. She nodded when he began to talk, even though she didn’t look at him still. She couldn’t bring herself to. She put one of her hands over her lips to hide her disgust and grimaced, but still managed to hide the look from the man. “Thank you… you seem nice as well. Personality-wise,” Eden said quietly, trying not to breath in the air near her because of Max’s meal. “And yes I’ll be your friend. And I’m sure Vinny will too. Perhaps you could eat your meal close to him? As a friend, I feel like you could understand that your appetite is not something I am used to,” she said quietly from behind her hand, her eyes watering. She covered her stomach with her other arm and was starting to feel like she was going to throw up or faint.

Jack was busy chatting to Benard about the Osprey and requisitions when an automated lift passed him by with a rather large crate on top. Making its way towards the osprey and placing the crate down just inside, opposite of where the ghoul was enjoying his "snack". (What vile vermin devours dead carcasses like that? He's no better that a rat or a vulture) Rinn whispered. "Hey, a guys gotta eat right?" Jack mumbled back jokingly. Making his way towards the crate he noticed Eden couldn't even bare to look at the ghouls meal. (Some warrior of god) Rinn said sarcastically.

Opening the crate he noticed his M16 was laying on top of all the rest with a couple spare mags and boxes of ammo. He quickly stuffed the extra mags in his webbing along his jacket and a box in his cargo pant pocket. Quickly checking the Rifle to make sure its up to his standards. "Everything seems in order." Jack muttered, slinging the Rifle over him. noticing the ghoul was face deep in the poor woman, max accidently dropped what looked to be a complete hand, nicely manicured too, by Max's feet.

"You thinking what I'm thinking Rinn?" Jack mumbled. (Let's have a little fun) you could hear the smile on Rinns demonic face. Quickly Rinn pulled himself apart from Jack. A small shroud of black smoke came up from Jacks shadow. Staying low to the ground like a black fog, Rinn quickly surrounded the severed hand. The black smoke made its way into the bloody opening, springing the hand to life. Using the fingers as makeshift legs, it crawled along the floor and up onto Edens chair. The light tapping from the nails was barely noticeable but eerily creepy as the hand made it up to the top of Edens chair. Jack watched at the corner of his eye, barely keeping in his laughter as the severed hand gently tapped Edens shoulder and gave a friendly wave when she turned her head.
