Back to the brown tinged sky
the cracked black streets
and the fetid stench of the lonely
My Home Sweet Home
Back to where souls die
their wretched lives puttering
the wretched ashes
of Home Sweet Home
Back to crime
nickels and dimes
the torturous passage of time
the retarded wrapping in rhymes
Sounds like Home Sweet Home
No more sunny days
or happy faces
or easy jobs
in my Home Sweet Home
Only, terrible tests
and ridiculous tribulations
the prove the mettle of those
living at Home Sweet Home
Not bad for freeform poetry, but...
