one of the demons grabbed kalin and tossed him to the ground and then tried to stab him with its blade but in a flash of movement kalin blocked the blade and killed the demon. he jumped to his feet and then jumped on the back of he nearest demon and killed the others around him. he kept moving the demon to the location he wanted and eventually killed the demon he was riding.
in the dark there is only one path that will take you to the true resting place of the dead.

kalin rolled to the side and grabbed magnus as he flew by and then dug his feet in to the ground stopping the forward momentum of magnus. he then set magnus on the ground and went back to fighting.

after what seemed like hours kalin finally beheaded the last of the demons and then dropped his blade as the pain in his arm got worse and worse. he looked at the arm and then sighed. "just fixed the damn wound only to make it worse." kalin took a bottle of water out of his bag and a bit of medical salve and washed the wound and then dressed the wound. as he finished wrapping the wound in new bandages he looked around to see that is was night time. " damn demons took up a lot of time" he said as he stood and picked up his blade in his right hand. he put the blade away in it sheath.

"I know..." he says.
"But i've sent men to the city." magnus says.
"they're there."
