She pulled on her coat quickly, launching the bag over her back. This town was messed up, and she did not need asking twice. Caroline was getting out of here before those that infiltrated the council could cause any more mayhem. She had spent the day at the hispital, heartbroken as she looked over the dying form of Tyler. Caroline wasn't sure how much more heartache she could take, especially as it all seemed to be heightened by her status as a Vampire. Tyler and her had planned to head to Florida, so that seemed like the best route to head. She had gotten dressed in a hurry and quickly pulled her hair free from the collar of her jacket, shaking it out as she walked out of the door. Caroline sighed as she pulled her phone free from her pocket and quickly scrolled through, finding her mothers number. "Mum... I'm fine... I'm..." But before she could get another syllable out she yelled out, a needle was forced into her neck and she felt an extreme burning sensation, before she eventually blacked out and fell to the floor.DAMON
She did noot know how long she had been out or what time it was, but she eventually woke up. She was however bound and also facing Rebekah. "Great" She sighed as she pulled against her bonds, but to no avail. "Vervain ropes... Looks like Alaric outed us all to the council" Caroline said, trying to ignore the burning sensation to her wrists.
"The council?" Questioned Rebekah, her tone as uncarring as ever. "What exactly do they think they can do to me? She added. Caroline looked to her, this girl really was another case, arrogant didn't seem to reach the height of this females ego. But before Caroline could say anything, the wheels of the van screeched and then the van flipped over, sending Caroline and Rebekah flying from the sides and landing onto the floor in a heap.
Caroline was unhurt, but in shock, and she flipped herself over onto her back. "What the hell happened?" Questioned Rebekah, but Caroline didn't answer. Outside, a great deal of noise and destruction could be heard, and Caroline tried desperately to break the robes but just squealed in pain as they burnt away her flesh. But then she stopped as the van doors were torn from their hinges. Caroline squinted at first and then turned, and her eyes rounded as she looked upon the figure. "Tyler?" She asked in shock. Hadn't he been dying in hospital? "You're alive?" She asked as he tore off her vervain ropes, crying in severe emotion and elated happiness. "How are you alive?" She asked as she jumped out of the van and wrapped her injured arms around him.
The past few days had been interesting, and once again he and Stefan found themselves at logger heads because of Elena. Before her it was Katherine, it seemed there would always be a reason for him and Stefan to be at each others throats. Elena, she was a blessing and a curse. Damon loved her, he truly did love her. But just like Katherine, Elena chose Stefan. Damon always seemed to come second to his brother. But now things seemed to be working differently and Elena was coming to him for help, knowing that Damon and Stefan were two different Vampires, and so would give her two very different lessons in being a Vampire. Damon was what he was, Stefan was a moralistic Vampire, something that didn't really go hand in hand with the fact that you have to kill people. However, Damon was going to teach Elena to feed without killing, without the hurt or guilt.
So Damon had escorted Elena and Bonnie to college, much to the annoyance of the Witch. But he wasn't going anywhere. Damon did not want Elena to be a Vampire, but she was and he hadn't had to lose her again. He sat through a lecture and through the college bores, pointing out to Elena who would make an ideal candidate for feeding. You had to select carefully, the less suspicious a person the easier they would make for a target. It helped if you oozed Vampire charm, such as Damon did. He could swoon the pants off of anyone.
So now he escorted the pair into the house party, dressed as Jack the Ripper. Elena was dressed the part as one of his victims, how fitting. The party didn't take long to get going, and soon Damon had Elena doing what was right. However she had almost slipped up and he had to reign her in and tell her to slow it down, not to kill him, to back away before their heart slowed. Elena wasn't getting it very quickly, but Damon would help her as best he could. Never would he give up on her. "Naturally" Quipped Damon at her comment on the animals. Animal blood was never sustainable, especially to a new Vampire. Then at his next question, Damon sighed, his arms about her waist. He looked to her beautiful face with the blood about her lips. How would he ever explain that? "Because I wanted you to be happy" Damon replied honestly, lacking his usual smirk or sarcasm.
