A penny for your card (Private)

The city was alive cars zooming this way and that, people walking the streets and stores alive with business. Just another day like always unless you can count the lines at every game shop that was packed with duelists that wanted to see if they could get a few new cards to help their decks. With only a limited number of days remaining until Duelist Kingdom it was no wonder the shops with the least amount of business were now packed and running out of stock as fast as they shelved it. All the best cards were being bidded on in shops as people elbowed eachother and shoved to complete their collections. It was quit the caos you would only see on Black Friday but yet it was pure bliss for many. Atleast no one was beating the other with the product they were fighting for. In this case only minor paper cuts were the last part and maybe a few bruises.

"Dion I told you to wait for me," a voice growled in the crowd but was lost due to the many voices high and low. Green orbs strained themselves to keep a lock on a head of brown hair that seemd to be moving farther away into the sea of Duelists. She started to move her way forward but the wave of people pushed her back a few feet. This was not working which only left her with one tactic..well the first one she could think of at such a time. She crouched down low enough to squeeze her way through. Peoples legs did not take up as much space like their upper bodies so it was easier for Naxis to crawl her way forward but it did have its down sides. Feet crushing your hands, touching someones chewed gum, spit and getting kicked was a possibility yet Naxis used her fast pace and kept her eyes and ears alert reducing the damage to her body and lowering the risk of her gagging as she moved forward.

Once she got far enough and was able to spot a pair of glow in the dark converse with little question marks on them Naxis kept moving past the sea of feet and grabbed hold of the boys legs before swiftly yanking him down to her level. "I told you to wait!" she roared angrily not waiting for him to hit the floor before she started her yelling.

the kid arrived at the line with his skateboard, he smiled and grabbed his board once he stopped, his deck in it's own pocket. he looked around and began to realize how long the line actually was. sighing he said, "this is going to take forever," and then he heard the voice of a young girl saying excuse me a lot, but couldn't find the body it belonged to.

Dion yelped as he felt his leg get grabbed and his body being pulled down. He hit the floor with a loud thump earning a few glances but that did not last since no one really cared. "Owwwww," he whined as he started to rub where a bruise would be in the morning. "Did you have to do that?" he growled at he looked at Naxis who was kneeling down with an angered look on her face. Sure he did go ahead but he wanted to see if he could spot that guy that beat Kaiba. If Dion could see him it would make his day and get him more pumped to get better.

"Yup, you ran off and left me looking like an idiot," Naxis stated then shoved her way into standing up before reaching a hand down to Dion. "Next time wait. If you want to see that guy its alot easier to wait until they leave places that are crowded," she stated as her brother took her hand. She pulled him up and started to scan around to help her brother out. THis place was alot worse then she had expected. Naxis started to turn to keep at her search when she was shoved against the wall by another mob that was hounding to get the next card being held up for ocction. Dion was shoved out of her grasp as well and he let out a cry when someone stepped on his foot.

Nax stayed in place not being able to move from the commotion or even hear herself think. This place was like the Zoo on feild trips. Naxis pressed her foot against the wall behined her and used her shoulders and arms to make her way through the crowd for her brother. Her nose caught a whiff of mixed scents. Some farts, body oder, tobaco, the rare hint of perfume and colgone hit her as well. Once guy she pushed past was swetty and when Naxis brushed her back up against him she could feel his warm damp shirt. That made her gag.
