The CS has stats to keep people from becoming overly powerful, but we won't be working with dice or anything of the sort.
Age: You'll be young, between ten and fifteen.
Appearance: Picture or description is okay by me.
Family: Tell us who your family is, and explain why you've come to be here.
Note: while your Stats determine your skills in the beginning, all of these will grow independently throughout the game. i. e. you can gain a combat skill point even if your stats haven't raised any.
Stats: Each has a base of 1, and you have 13 points to distribute. Obviously some stats will be higher than others, but remember that balance is important, each stat will determine things other than your skills. If you had nothing but strength you wouldn't be much of a hero.
Skills: Remember that these are just your potential for those skills. You will still start at roughly a beginner's level. Even if you have a high potential for magic, you won't know any unless your character has a logical reason for knowing it.
Combat: Governed by all four of the physical stats(strength, endurance, speed and dexterity). Which stats you have determine how you wield a weapon. Thus, it's a very versatile skill, and nearly all Heroes use some form of it. (Str + End + Spd + Dex)/4 + 5
Block: Governed by Strength, Endurance and Speed. This is your ability to absorb attacks, whether with a shield or with your own weapon. The greater your strength, the greater damage you can absorb. The greater your endurance, the longer you can keep absorbing.
Block St: How much you can absorb, Strength + 5
Block Sp: How quickly you can get your guard up, Speed + 5
Block E: How long you can keep blocking, Endurance + 5
Marksmanship: Self explanatory, it's ranged weapons such as a bow or thrown objects. (Dex + Spd)/2 + 5
Low Magic: Governed by Intelligence. These are "magic tricks." Small miracles, it's a very subtle art. Any hero can learn Low Magic, but few will truly master it. (If you think this is too vague: think alteration and illusions from Elder Scrolls wrapped up into one, whereas High Magic is basically just destruction) Int + 5
High Magic: Governed by Willpower. This is the magic most young heroes are interested in. It's the throwing of fireballs and lightning bolts. Great earth shaking feats. It's more about pure power than skill. It's useful in combat, but not many other situations. Will + 5
