well you mentioned blue flames. i always considered them a specialty elementsal magic along with light magic, dark magic, black flames, red ice, black lightning, ect ect

I do not know what red white blue or black magic means, but I should point out that magic in this world isn't really separated by elements.

While there are a million different ways you could use Low Magic, High Magic is almost entirely offensive. The main difference between the two schools is how much power you put into the spells. The reason for this is that putting more power behind a spell makes it harder to control, and breaks it down to its basics.

But both characters are accepted, and I shall make an OOC for discussions and such, and an IC presently.

EDIT: By the way, magic actually is the exception to the "we all start out knowing nothing" rule. The reasons for that are that it would be unfair for certain characters to start out being useless, and because it does make sense that magical education starts at a young age.

To help you understand what we mean Gisk, Black magic is elemental magic, such as fire, ice, and lightning. You could call that offensive, or High magic. white magic consists of healing and other restoration magic, red is buffs and de-buffs, meaning spells that effect the mind and body in a non physical way, and blue magic is using the abilities of your opponents against them. Those would all be considered Low magic in your words.
