Let us Create Something...IDEAS

I've been in the mood for a roleplay...a roleplay that doesn't rely on just me being the storyteller or the creator of an immersive world. I want a role play that takes the collective ideas of multiple people and creates an environment that can truly be experienced like never before. Lately I've been dreaming a lot, blank dreams...white canvases pure of any of my minds former thoughts. Lucid dreaming as you can call it...and immediately as I realize I'm dreaming I create whatever I want...worlds, ideas, new colors, sounds, feelings that I wish I could experience with other people. So what do I do...I come here and try to live a new life through a character I've created in the many roleplays I'm apart of. But after awhile the worlds become dull and everyone seems the same. Even now as I type this I'm imagining an RP where there is a blank world and four people stand in pure nothingness, pure blissful creation. And everything they think of, speak, feel, begins to manifest on this white canvas. But that's just my imagination running wild again.

So I ask you...who wants to create an RP together? One where everyone has a portion of their ideas implemented. One where we go so in depth that we create our own soundtracks, our own creatures, our very own story as a unit. It can take place in a fantasy world or something a lot more closer to home. We are the creators...so anyone interested?

Oh and let me be clear. This is not that drop in and drop out kind of thing which so many people are into these days. If you get a bitch pregnant are you going to drop in and out of that child's life? You should know the answer. This is not that kind of RP. I don't want to put a cap on the amount of players, but a big group would be lovely, however having too many can get messy and too small can be a bit of a well...compromise. So I'm guessing four is the magic number...four being the number of creators. And if we ever get it going live then of course open it up for others to experience as well.

I'm happy with most genres - and think that we could happily splice the world with a mixture of both fantasy and sci-fi. How 'heavy' were you thinking in terms of serious-mess, plot - that kind of thing?

@LuckySpectre There are no boundaries, well at least until we start working on something together. As a collective we'll think of something and once we start getting detailed we'll have to create the rules of the universe. But that's what I'm thinking, everyone else has a say. Truly you're a GM as well so you have a part in what the boundaries are. And being on here now and then, well...I'm not sure. I mean when we're throwing around our creative juices I would hope you'll be able to witness the origin of our RP. I have no problem with you being here every now and then as long as your apart of this baby's life lol. Well climb on board and see what we can do.

@Lady Rawr YAY!!!! Well get on over to the nursery and look at this thing! haha. I love Sci-fi and Fantasy and when they are together! Oh LAWDY!!! Well when it comes to plot, we'll all figure something out. I would like it to be semi-serious but leaving it loose can also make some new opportunities open up.

So everyone, I think I got the amount I was looking for, perfect number! So truly this will be our creation thread unless you want an actual OOC. But overall this will not be a debating thread. It will be more of a brainstorm together, throwing our ideas, fantasies, desires, fears or whatever you think would be great for a fresh, new, original RP. Rip your fucking brain out, put it on the table and pick through it to find what we shall create. I don't want to be the team leader...we are all leaders. But I'm just going to put down the topics we should go over in order to get some sustenance.

LET OUR DISCUSSION BEGIN
So let's kind of start with the World we live in and also the Genre. I'm up for any kind of genre but what should our world be like. Should it be the reality we live in today, or mutate it to fit what we want in our RP? Is gravity nonexistent, do we breathe? Throw some ideas out there. For me, I love worlds that immerse you in sunlight and colors, almost to the point you are thinking to yourself "am I tripping on acid".

What about you guys? Just pour out your ideas.

I suggest the Setting be authentic High Fantasy, with elements of Machina/Steam-Punk-even cyber-punk thrown in. Ancient collapsed civilizations like an "Atlantis" motiff might have been capable of mowing down the entire setting with low-futuristic Tech, but Medieval-esque technology combined with Magic will be the norm.

ActRaiser, that sounds...really interesting. And as I type this...I'm smiling like I it's no ones business haha. Okay so let's flesh this out. So if I'm understanding right the normal tech will be what we find in Medieval times(In a way) and fused with magic elements. I love the idea of a authentic of High Fantasy.

Come on in Vaei, I think we could use one more brain just to get some thoughts swirling. I love Jigglypuff
