Lament

A Wolf's Rain Inspired RP

The Earth; a broken and starved shell of its former self, after a holocaust long-since forgotten. Ice covers half of the land; it's counterpart full of debris from ancient times and forgotten memories. It is considered a wasteland to some, and an average lifestyle to many. To protect from the cold of the ice-age, humans built domed-shaped cities. Supplies are given in the form of air-ships and dog-run sledges.

However, beyond the boundaries of this iced life exists many a secret. Hidden temples, concealed laboratories and dark castles. Each have their own stories to be told.

There is much that the humans have forgotten. One of them being the existence of creatures long since rumored to be extinct.

Description: A creature long-since thought to be extinct. Now they only exist in fairy-tales and myths; or so the humans think. Taking on the guise of a human, the public may very well be passing them by every day.

Description: Animals that have learned the way of the wolves. Although they are not mentioned in forms of stories nor rumored to be extinct, they are far more secretive than their normal brothers and sisters.

Animals that are included here are: small to medium wild felines, foxes and members of the weasel family. Others must be run by me through OOC or PM.

Steel City
A domed city where a population of around 5000 live. Often, travellers will come to rest here, as it is a fairly popular attraction in the tundra. It appears as a small metropolis, with barricaded sides to keep out the eternal snow and freeze. ((Starting point.))

Rapture Laboratory
To the south-west of Steel City resides a laboratory half-hidden in the icy lands. Only those that work there know of what is conducted there. It is white-walled and tall, and quite easy to miss amongst the snowfall.

Name: Orren
Age: Around 22
Gender: Male

Species: Grey wolf

Personality: Orren is a little guy with a big temper and a bigger heart. He's not a bad kid. Orren's main problem is his mouth. He holds on tightly to what he believes in and viciously lashes out at those who cross those personal opinions with vulgar and colorful language. He has a tendency to act like a complete asshole to give the allusion that he doesn't give a shit about anyone. He calls names, swears, yells, and bites the head off of any and everyone. However, his language should not be taken to heart. Orren is rude even to people he likes, as if he feels the need to push them away. Underneath all the hot air, he's really sweet as a kitten and actually a very good friend.

Other: He lives on the street with his best friend, Zinzie.

Human Appearance: Orren is short and scrawny. He stands at only 5'5" and barely weighs 130 pounds. He lets his temper make up for what he lacks in size. His hair is jet black and always a bit messy. His pale skin contrasts his grey eyes. Orren is rarely seen with a smile.


Wolf form: In his wolf form, he is still rather pitiful. He's small for his breed and gender. Orren's fur is different shades and tones of grey and silver. His eyes are still grey. Orren has a darker grey stripe running up his nose and rings around his eyes.






Name: Zinzie
Age: 23 ish
Gender: Male

Species: Timber wolf

Personality: Zinzie has embraced more of human culture than Orren likely ever will, mainly drugs. Besides being something of a pothead, he's goofy, laid back, loves everyone, and is very tolerant. He's a bit dopey, often seen as a complete imbecile. However, Zinzie's not dumb, he's just...a bit whimsical. Zinzie uses all sorts of vulgar language. In fact, its rare to hear him speak without using some sort of profanity. However, he doesn't use it in the same tone as our good friend Orren. Zinzie's words are completely harmless and lack any malice. He's sweet as a candy cane dipped in chocolate, but often comes across as a delinquent to others. His drug habits and fondness of pranks, being late, and general sloppiness don't help.

Human appearance: Zinzie has messy light brown hair and a constant dopey grin on his face. His eyes are brown, and usually soft and gentle. Zinzie wouldn't hurt a fly. He has naturally olive skin due to his Italian descent. He's tall and lanky, 6'3", but usually slouches. Zinie weighs in at only 149 pounds, which leaves him a bit on the scrawny, bony side. He also never wears shoes.


Wolf appearance: Zinzie's fur is light reddish brown with lighter brown markings. Most of his markings are odds and ends including a bald face, one sock, and stripes over a couple shoulders. His eyes are chocolate brown. In his wolf form, is his still rather big, but not very solid.


History: I don't really have anything for either of them =P I'll figure it out when I have more time.

I have a question. One thing I never got about the show was how they changed from wolf to human. Did they physically change or was it just an illusion? And how will it be in this RP?

Within the show it was an illusion (excluding Darcia). For the moment, it'll be much the same within this RP.

Name: Styr

Age: 19

Gender: female

Species: Arctic wolf

Human Appearance:
Styr's human figure consists of long flowing white hair and pale skin with blue eyes, as in her wolf figure she's tall and skinny in an almost clumsy appearance but she moves with precise smooth and controlled movements.

Wolf Appearance:
Styr is tall and lanky as a wolf with long skinny legs and a long tail. Styr is mostly a black-ish grey with a silver beneath her entire body and along her legs with a half mask around her face, her long bushy black tail and her eyes are blue. She has large open ears to help her to hear better but make her lanky body more pronounced.
Personality: Styr is strong willed and independent, but caring and selfless, she likes to travel alone but occasionally enjoys the company of others, she easily gets along with people and people naturally trust her due to her outwardly talkative personality and her caring sense of nature. Styr likes the sun and dislikes the rain, she likes to be playful and has an enjoyable sense of humor.
