[High Casual to Advanced] Dark Souls 1 x 1 RP

I have recently finished Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition and completely loved every minute of it. I like the universe they have created and built upon with the expansion, the cycle of Flame and Dark, the Abyss, the curse of undeath, the decline of all that was and the unforgiving reality left behind. I was sparked with attempting an RP in this universe. This is actually my first try at "recruiting" for a 1 x 1, I may misstep at places, I may falter, but I am always open to suggestions, tips and help. I may have listed a lot of points below, but most are just common sense (at least for me) or basic exposition on the idea I wish to run with.

No god-modding! Despite the setting, don't want everyone to die every post, but be a sport, people get hit, they hurt, they miss or fail what they set out to do, etc.

- This is Advanced-ish.
Be at least able and willing to write two paragraphs with proper grammar. If the mood is good or motivation right, nothing wrong with 5-10+ paragraphs either. Descriptions, interactions and reactions have much more impact when properly played out and l337 sp34k breaks mood. Typos are a fact of life, I can deal with mine and oher's, hope you can too!

- Serious only need apply.
With the setting in mind, this is aimed at more serious-minded people and characters. Many themes from the Souls games lean towards the darker spectrum, such as fear, hopelessness, insanity and such. Doesn't mean no jokes or a bit of sillyness, I'm as fun-loving as anyone else, but just want to keep the tone in tune.

- Active, but not manic.
Everyone has a life, some days are busy, others not. This also applies for me. At least be able to post twice a week. I can post daily, often, but cannot promise I'll always be able to, hence at least a small weekly presence to move things along. Drop a PM if you can't post, I'm a nice person and understand setbacks!

- Game knowledge a great asset.
In short, it's a dark fantasy setting. Only "humans", but magic, monsters, undead, crumbling castles and swords are where it's at. Although I can go into greater detail about the setting, the regions, inhabitants and such, having prior knowledge of the game will help a lot and also give insight better experienced in-game than explained. Demon's Souls knowledge works as well, as many of the themes are similar in both games.

- Characters not set
One plays a person cursed with the Darksign in the lands of Lordran, the other a Ghost summoned by said afflicted. Speaking of characters, plot, setting and such is encouraged in PMs! For this run, I'll be taking the role of the non-ghost character.

- Potential to become bigger!
If the 1 x 1 goes well, or if I somehow spark interest in multiple people with the idea, this could eventually spawn an Advanced/Casual thread with more people.

I cannot say I am one of the best, but I did kill every boss on my own? Got platinum trophy for what it's worth, took forever to get all the boss weapons.
