I agree Grim , Although I think everybody's population is far too small. I would have thought millions would have resided in each Kingdom due to the mass of the land and seeing how it was meant to be relatively realistic , I thought millions of citizens would have lived in each Kingdom , like it was in the Real World.

I really just meant that my nations population seems comparatively small and was wondering if I should tweak it closer to being in balance with the rest of you.

The Ancient holy Land of Dust and Sand. Apparently forged by the hands of the gods, These promised lands hold ancient secrets and ruins that were left behind millenia ago by a mighty race known only to current generations as angels. Remains of their civilization lay beneath the sand covered dunes of the ancient landscape as the unforgiving sun preys down upon those that stand within its wake. These lands are seen to many as being cursed due to the lack of water and the intensity of heat that the landscape appears to attract to itself. However, Several small groups of nomads and the single mighty empire which has ruled and resided within these lands for hundreds of years have no issue with adapting and thriving during even the hardest of times. The ancient origins of the septimius empire however are inscribed within ancient writings and books which speaks of their arrival as one of the very first on the land of austrafar, After discovering the ancient ruins of the lost world, they built their empire in the vision of their gods, using the same ancient methods of their technology and culture to where they took the same form of economy that involves trade of military equipment and food items. Up to the present day the empire has been through several difficult times which included a killer rat plague and a 100 year war with a now defeated enemy.

One of the oldest cities in all of Austrafar, Salamor was originally built by the "Angels" Of the first civilizations that roamed the land, vast ancient sculptures and pillars surround the colossal city that merges itself intro the rocky mountains of the desert which surrounds it. Hundreds of years after being discovered by the first rulers of the Empire, the City was completely rebuilt from the ruins in which it originated from and was made the key capitol city of the empire. The Grands city of sand and brick is not only a city, but acts as a major religious symbol and historical site for many citizens of the empire, due to this, the city attracts a lot of attention from those that wish to do a pilgrimage. Within the huge walls of the city are several districts, these districts are known as the Imperial district where most of the rich and mighty live, the Cathedral district which is the key religion zone, the Poor district which unfortunate holds the less fortunate, The market district which is home to one of the largest trade districts in all of the land, the military district which is home to the key training grounds of the empires military forces and last of all is the highly guarded the royal district, where the Elite of the empire such as the empress live.

CYRANIANS


The Cyranians are well known for their beauty and attractiveness across both genders. To many other nations they are seen as the key breeding material for cross-nation relationships as the offspring is often hoped to be attractive and healthy. both genders also have common features among them such as light colored hair such as light browns and blonde and also both feature smooth and delicate skin. The females are naturally slender and smooth in appearance while the males are genuinely muscular and athletic, both genders however stand at a somewhat over average height at around 5'10.

Psyche:

The Mind set of the empire is somewhat impressive. Cyranian's are incredibly intelligent when it comes to mathematics, manufacturing and military strategy. As a nation they are incredibly militaristic and self-righteous while having truly brilliant manufacturing and building skills. Cyranian's believe that nobody in the land is as rich and as powerful as them making them extremely cocky and discriminative to certain cultures. They see war as a means to gain more power although they only do so if they intelligently believe that the outcome will be a victory. There quick thinking and intelligent ways make them one of the brightest and most strategically offensive and best trained military nations in the land.


Racial Disadvantage:

• Blinded by Pride - The Cyranians are blinded by personal pride which makes them vulnerable to attack, especially since they believe that nobody in their right mind would attack them, This blindness may also make possible relations with other nations difficult or untrustworthy.
  
  
• Frostbite - Due to living most of their lives within warm, sandy conditions, they do not adapt well to cold weather conditions although they do attempt to use clothing that's lined with fur for colder conditions, overall their performance in a battle will be reduced.
  
• Tiny Navy - Due to the Order of the military and most of the military funding put into ground forces, the empire barley has a suitable combat navy which makes it only suitable for either transporting troops or trade materials.

Racial Advantage:

• Global Intelligence - The natural intelligence and mathematical skills of the empire makes them one of the best trained, best equipped, and best commanded military's in the land. Their intelligence is also the key reason why the empire has been so successful over 100's of years.
  
  
• Attractiveness - The Natural attractiveness of the empire, especially the women is a major advantage when it comes to persuading the males of other nations, it also makes them one of the key choices for marriages and breeding which in the end... only increases their power and connections further.
  
  
• Powerful Ground military - The military of the empire is a colossal war machine, bringing the best trained soldiers and best equipment into battle, setting out to decimate everything in its path.

Due to the imperialistic ways of the government, the entire empire is ruled by a single empress which is much like an absolute monarchy, however, due to the introduction of multiple states within the lands of Cyrathor. The main policy of this imperialistic government is the process of extending the country's power and influence through diplomacy and key military force.

Religion:
IMPREDIASM

Imprediasm is the single most worshiped and practiced region within all of the empire. Imprediasm came around at the very origins of the empire as discoveries of ancient temples built by an ancient civilization known as the "Angels" Or the "Impredi" were found beneath the sand. for hundreds of years the inhabitants of the empire have embraced these angels as their gods who they believe forged the very world that they stand upon. Today the Cyranians do almost everything in the name of their gods and most of all their empress who also acts as the key spiritualist leader alongside being the leader of the entire legion. The empress is believed to "talk" to these gods and carry on words of praise and love from the afterlife to her citizens. The Key God in which they worship is known as Cyrali, the goddess of light and promise who supposedly led the ancient civilization before they mysteriously disappeared into dust.

Empress Aemilia Sophronia Septimius I

Empress Aemilia Sophronia Septimius I, is one of the most beautiful women in all of the land and has ruled over the empire from the age of only 16 years old. The empress In the early days of her power ruled beside her husband, Emperor Ralius Septimius II but due to the unfortunate arrival of illness, the emperor passed away shortly after the birth of two children. To this day the Empress rules her empire not only as its key governmental ruler and political leader but also as the nations key religious figure, supposedly acting as the key conduit to the afterlife and passing on words of wisdom from the gods. The empress however is incredibly kind hearted and loving of her people but also highly aggressive when it comes to times of war. Today she is one of the most powerful, yet most feared leaders in all of austrafar.

Princess Saturnina Romana Septimius

Princess Saturnina Romana Septimius is the young teenage daughter of the empress and is currently the rightful heir to the throne, She is intelligent and well mannered but is soft when it comes to war and military power, she believes that military force is not required when ruling a nation but knows and respects best of what her mother tells her.

Prince Archelaus Claudius Septimius

Prince Archelaus Claudius Septimius is son to the empress and acts mainly as a military man, ruling as one of the key leaders of the entire military. He is ruthless, brittle and aggressive when it comes to military strategy and combat. He is greatly respected and loved among his men and certainty doesn't fear the possibility of dying in a battle. His Mother, the empress however disapproves of his motives but even sometimes, family is out of arms reach of an empress.

Lord protector of the empress Adalwin Pomponius

Adalwin Pomponius is the main bodyguard for the empress and her family, he is extremely loyal to the empire and is one of the most trusted men within the empire as only very few get an audience with the empress due to her importance. Adalwin is incredibly skilled in combat and features brilliant skills of charisma which can speak his way out of any given situation, he is seen as a major friend to the empress as they casually spend most days together.

High Imperial legate Adelina Sigilind

High Imperial legate Adelina Sigilind is the Key Legate (General) Within the empire. She usually commands the entire force alongside Prince Septimius during massive scale battles. She is Highly aggressive alongside her attractiveness and believes heavily in religion, seeing her duty as a legate as the pathway to the afterlife. She is highly respected by most of the soldiers in which she commands and feels honored for being able to command such an impressive military.

MILITARY



The colossal war machine that the empires military is, is managed from afar by the empress, but on the ground it is the Prince and The Legates including Adelina Sigilind that take true command. The Military is comprised of about 300,000 human troops in total which does include the occasional female but only for officer roles that usually has them at the far rear of the battle. Although there is such huge numbers, most of the total army is set on reserve or given city or border patrols to help keep the entire country secure. The military is configured almost entirely of ground forces and has an extremely large variety of cavalry available to go into battle. However still with the large numbers, the army is incredibly difficult to control, and even thought they are well trained, almost anybody can make deadly mistakes. The military is also trained for extensive sieges of towns and fortifications as the empire has done well with manufacturing devastating heavy weapons such as trebuchets, catapults, and ballista's for use in battle.

Imperial Pike-man/Infantry-man - 320,000

The Highly trained Infantryman/Pike-man of the imperial army is specialized in frontal assault with the use of a sword and can also contribute to the elimination of hostile cavalry due to the length of the spears that several of them have equiped.

Imperial Heavy Cavalry - 30,000

This Super heavy Elite cavalry unit is somewhat fast and extremely devastating for cutting down infantry out in the open, the use of two handed swords can make even the best armor split open like a nut.

Imperial Longbow Cavalry - 25,000

These horse mounted archers are fast and accurate when moving quickly on the battlefield, they make an excellent job at eliminating hostiles from afar.

Imperial Crossbow Cavalry - 25,000

These fast moving Elite horse mounted crossbow archers are just as devastating as the longbow archers, but offer more power and accuracy in exchange for increased loading time.

Imperial Reapers Of Septimius - 30

These Super Elite soldiers are the highest trained, heaviest armored and the best equipped soldiers in the entire military. Hand picked by the Empress herself these soldiers act as her personal bodyguard when away from the safety of her own land, They are equipped with two handed weapons such as axes and claymores. The reapers are also not only terrifying to look at but completely terrifying when it comes to observing there skill in battle

Ballista's - 50

These massive Bows fire foot long wooden arrows than can hit a target almost a mile away, they are incredibly powerful although due to the recoil, it is impossible for them to hit the same spot twice.

Catapult - 50

These somewhat large catapults can toss large ignited fireballs when burst into a fireball when an impact with ground is made, they can also be used for extensive sieges of city's and forts.

Trebuchet- 5

These super heavy and enormous weapons are the big daddy variant to the typical catapult, allowing massive amounts of damage to be caused to buildings and cities.

Also i'm going to re-post a post i made a while back just so everyone is clear.

This is a Nation roleplay not a war roleplay, so i don't want to see every single nation having an all out war with each-other, war in itself should only ever really happen if there is a legitimate reason to it, in the real world. nations only go to war to either gain something or projects their-selves or something along those lines.

I want to see nations interacting with each other as allies, making trade agreements and working together, having the rulers children have royal marriages between nations or giving gifts to each-other. But when it comes to war you need to think hard about who you are going to attack. They may have allies that would assist them.

But obviously, not all nations may see eye to eye on things, you don't have to be at war to attempt assassinations and things that they may not see coming.

True, but my thinking on the upsize was that my people are mercenary in nature, and even if seventy percent of the population are members of the warrior caste, most of them will spend the majority of their time outside of my borders working to bring coin back to the people. So functionally it doesn't increase the problem of government when objectively there'll probably only be a hundred thousand or so souls inhabiting the Yelden.
