Just thought I'd let you know I swapped around my minor and major skills. It made more sense for him to be better at fighting than blacksmithing as he's still an apprentice blacksmith and has had at least 5 years of training from his father at fighting.
MelonHead does not give out free Melons.
Just thought I would browse this RP and submit a character if there are still openings.
The writer who cares more about words than about characters, action, setting, and atmosphere is unlikely to create a vivid and continuous dream; he gets in his own way too much; in his poetic drunkenness, he can't tell the cart- and its cargo- from the horse.
"Grieve not, wise warrior. It is better
to avenge one's friend than mourn too much.
Each of us must one day reach the end
Of worldly life, let him who can win
glory before he dies: that lives on
after him, when he lifeless lies."
Eclava Oussrett(Chaos Omega - Heiress to the Void)
This class is a fairly odd one; her methods employ mind, body, and spirit execution and torture. Using her charm, and body, she can lure even captives into a false state of security, before the torture and eventual execution begins.
Eclava's personality is best attributed to Chaotic Evil, to an extreme. She won't hesitate to execute anyone who disrespects her or even disagrees with her, though sometimes the latter is allowed to slip. Her dislike of the Drow's dependence on Lloth, has led her down a path of evil to the point her appearance[above] reflects this. White war paint. In fact all visible skin upon her is covered in the paint. She has somewhat of a soft spot for spiders, and people with spider spirits, and will go into a rage if one is trampled upon in her presence. It is said she plans to kill everyone who stands before her, to the point during their conversations, she is secretly plotting out weak points, attaching spiders, and finding ways to kill the person in question. Due to her dark aura, she has a type of black beauty that draws many men, and women, to her.
The Drow Goddess, Lloth, is known to have a Spider by her side at all times. As if to spit in the face of the Goddess, Eclava's spirit is that of Black Widow Spider- One favored by that of Lloth. Eclava has gained so much control of this particular spirit that it rarely ever ceases to be completely physical- giving her a moving throne. It's sheer size and appearance is enough to strike fear into those who see it.
A large spider-web; glistening with the shiny string and streaks of fresh blood.
- A whip fashioned with thorn points along the entire 20 foot length.
- Several vials of poison. Can be directly injected, or inhaled.-- x3 that causes shock
-- x3 that causes the body to become paralyzed, yet can still feel pain.
-- x3 causes the person to tell the truth- x1 Long Poled Axe - Primary function - Execution
- x1 Small Dagger
Her Major Skill; birthed in the darkest parts of the UnderDark, she grew up around the vile screams of those who had wronged the Drow Goddess, Lloth, or the heirarchy of the Drow Underworld. Instead of taking to the normal life-route of women of Drow, she followed in the footsteps of her father, Tsabdaz'yraen(Void Wanderer Heretic) Oussrett(Heir to the Void). He taught her the most evil of traits; Execution. She was taught the immediate kill-points, which she does not fancy, as well as the ways to execute a person via their mind or soul; whichever tickles her fancy. Her main style of execution, follows the Soul - Mind - Body method; the most heinous of the Execution Methods in Allaria. Her prowess in this skill is so great, that even in the icy tundras of Northern Allaria tell their offspring she is the Void Executioner, and if they are bad, she will come and kill them.
Her minor skill. Due to her birthplace, and her chosen path, she was also taught to torture her victims first, earning her the name 'Void Torturer'. She normally keeps several 'Transporters' with her, to make it easy to transport her tools for this trade. One stays with the object and one stays with Eclava. Being twins, they can send objects between each other, and at times, even themselves. Using these tools, she has effectively broken down strong willed men, and even stronger willed creatures via methods that, if revealed, would lend themselves to a long bloodbath, which would be effectively named 'Blood River.' Several of her victimes are still alive, still being tortured by her heinous inventions.
What better magic for her, than the control of a Dark Material? Using Shadows she can encase her victims in a darkness that is sure to bring out their wildest fears. There are many other uses for her shadows.
She is moderate at poison generation.
She can command spiders at will, any nearby spiders will immediately seek to attack targets or relay information to the woman.
Her most direct strength is the fear she can instill in people at a glance, especially if they already know her history. Another strength is her innate knowledge of the human/elf/drawf/etc., etc Physiology, which goes hand in hand with her torturer nature and her execution knack. Her diplomatic skills are nothing to frown upon, both that and her infamy led her to the New Council, and her dominance over the majority of the hook. She also has all the normal strengths of a Drow, in terms of sight and hearing. Her lack of faith in Lloth, allows her to do more than the average Drow.
Her biggest weakness is her lack of defense; rather playing on her exceptional agility and speed to evade attacks, rather than take them all at once. To make up for this, two of her associates are skilled in barriers and defense, but are rather slow and weak. Another weakness of hers is her ultimate fear of dying. Without a belief, her soul is said to be subjugated to all the pain that it has inflicted in the Material World; for Eclava, that is her biggest fear. She actively searches for a way to extend her life indefinitely, often attributing to her violent mood. She also dislikes ice, abhors it even, so much so that she won't go to the Northern Tundras, without a damn good reason.
Thirty-Five in Minotaur years
(Approximate height, and weapon)
Edan-Es is a rather violent man, evident by his instatiable need to cause as much havoc when presented with the chance. He has a highly analytical mind that allows for his aggression to be maximized. He is also in love with Eclava, though he doesn't think he can be with her, because he was formerly her underling. The promotion, he thinks, may help his chances. Having never believed in Sargas, Edan-Es trained himself to fend for himself and be able to strive and even thrive through physical and mental tortures brought about by surviving alone in an unknown land.
Edan-Es has always had an odd spirit; it has always been a young human woman, dressed in rags to cover up her womanly parts. A chain it wrapped around her neck, and it is held by a spirit chain connected to Edan's neck. The chain is extendable as he wishes and he can move it to his hands if he wants to reel her in. However, this is not a full on human form for his spirit, no one knows what that exactly looks like. He has named her Lillith.
Edan's Spirit world is not as peculiar as his spirit animal is. In fact is it naught more than a simple dungeon, wherein the woman in chains is often captured.
Minotaurian Battle Armor:
The minotaur race is not known for their smithing skills, but they do make some sturdy armor for themselves. Complete with a left shoulder guard, twin gauntlets(Right and left arms), and a lower torso guard.
This was made for Bastionihotaki de-Nordmir, as a favor for Sargas, by the God, Abbathor. It has magical properties that allow it to be wielded only by the victor in mortal combat over the owner. While the death of Bastion, at the hands of Edan-Es, was not a rightful battle, death did occur, thus, the ownership magic was taken into effect and Edan-Es became the owner.
Rations and such for when he is hungry
He couple of piercings in his horns.
Were not for his best friend's untimely death, Edan-Es probably would have made him proud with his knowledge in military sequences, movements, history, and strategy. With intelligence on par with his Bastion's, Edan-Es has effectively solidified himself as a valuable asset. By virtue of pure knowledge of all mountain ranges Edan-Es can, will, and has, provided logistics for them all; down to the last rock.
As an elite in the armies of the Minotaur, Edan-Es boasts significant martial abilities. His skill with the Battle Axe, and his uncanny ability to form strategies(reminiscent of his best friend) quickly saw him rise through the ranks. However, for each level he rose, the love he had for Eclava grew, as did his aggression and dislike for Ivan. Eclava often calls on him to train new recruits in the battle style of the Apotheoses, a hard style fit for the most battle-hardened of warriors. Tutelage under him, has seen an army evolve into something better than the Valgarian Undead's militia.
None, personally. The Axe he carries is magicked to be bound to whoever kills the owner. In this case, Edan-Es is the master of the Axe, because he killed the former owner, Bastionihotaki de-Nordmir. The axe, while able to be stolen, cannot be wielded without proper rights of ownership.
Edan-Es possess remarkably strength, even for a Minotaur. This is evident by his ability to lift up the battle axe he won from Bastion. He is also an excellent tactian, having learned under Bastion and then under the Apotheoses, and further still beneath Eclava. His defenses are quite extreme, making him an able tank when faced with normal weapons. It is said that when Eclava first took him under her wing, he was already slated to be a Apotheoses Lord, with a little more training.
Like many Minotaur, Edan-Es is not an agile being. While he can run at a decent speed, he will never be considered the fastest being in the world. Unless, he is on all fours, he has an increased chance of toppling over if attacked in the lower regions, though his hide makes up for this. Also, he is emotionally attached to Eclava, so he'll do all in his power to keep her alive and safe.
Explained in earlier posts.

Shhhhh, sweet children...
The amount of space occupied by a dead hooker, typically used to measure the size of a car's trunk. The actual volume of a Dead Hooker Unit has been disputed, since hookers come in different sizes. Most parties agree that a DHU is the average volume occupied by a dead hooker, but that there is not a definite conversion from DHU to liters.
250 (Considered to be a middle age adult)
He prefers to use history to shape his own future. This is why he was initially accepted as Eclava’s third, his knowledge of history has proven him a useful asset to her campaign.
Formerly Ouroboros, but like Eclava he has his own ambitions, so he denounced the Serpent God and prays, now, to no one.
Fananatu is quite cunning for his race - evident by his intellect and his ability to get in and out of places with mere words. He does not have the mean streak, in physicality, but he is mentally detrimental to most people he meets. To him, everyone is a pawn in his game - which fits, given he is a part of a group who does the same thing. Despite this, he is often viewed as loyal, though that may be part of his visage. The only documented loyalty concerning Fananatu is to those who currently benefit himself - and now, the Apotheoses offer that and much, much more. Fananatu has a true love for the historical aspect of life, as shown with his delicate collection and upkeep of his books.
Jadik is a special type of monkey, he represents what Fananatu was built around - history. His curious state is due to his lengthy reign in the world. He is far more knowledgeable about the past than even Fananatu, proving he is one of the foremost beings in the realm of history. He refuses to give Fananatu any of his knowledge, instead pestering him to continue on with his studies.
His world is full of floating sticks; most of them edible to him, but otherwise just there. He tends to clamber from one stick to another with an alarming speed; which isn’t unheard of, given he’s spent his entire life learning how to do it.
Equipment(Generally carried on Fananatu‘s person):
A bit of a buster sword, though he rarely ever uses it - preferring to use ‘diplomacy’
Books - Lots and lots of books. He is a history buff, so he uses any chance he can to study up and increase his knowledge. Some are also rune books and spell books.
Attire seen in Appearance Picture.
Food and water rations.
His major skill is his proficiency where history is concerned. He retains a lot of what he reads and uses it to effect his future. Further-still, he knows things of the past that some may have overlooked, such as the Rocoan Spirit - The Chimera. It is believed that a mixture of his knowledge of history and runes, can lead him to find a way to break into the past and unlock hidden away secrets.Minor:
Fananatu is quite skilled in the usage of various runes. He’s shown to have almost complete mastery over the ones he does control. His body, unlike Johic’s, is covered with, thus far, unnamed runes. Perhaps they mean nothing.
The only magic he has shown thus far is the use of runes, specifically teleportation runes. Strange carvings line his sword, and combined with the knowledge that he often carries around spell books, it is safe to say his expansive intellect has granted him some form of arcane magic ability.
His immense intellect is what got him so high in the Apotheoses circle. With the elevation of Edan-Es, he is to be considered for the next available rise should one come around. He is one of the smartest members of the Army, and one of the most creative, it was his idea to have Eclava walk into Rocoa alone - with the army camouflaged by the Chameleon.
Having mastered multiple languages, his intellect has allowed him to combine them and adjust his pitch and word choice, making his words seem more silvery than they are. In fact, he is known to use words to get around fights and push people where he wants them to be. Eclava considers him a master strategist and keeps close tabs on him.
He is not the fighter type, and isn’t much to brag about on defense. Close-combat, or combat where he cannot use his magic, and he is likely to go down to a few blows. To off-set this, he is never expressly sent out to the battlefield - anytime he does go, it is under false-pretenses.
