CALLING DEATH NOTE FANS - 4 year time jump (Mello, Near, Matt)

Hello everyone!

This is my first thread so I hope all goes well ^^

OK, so basically this rp idea is based on the 4 years that passed with no info given regarding the events taking place. Right after Mello leaves the Wammy's House (Watari's orphanage).

If you wanna give these characters a bit more love like me, join in Original characters are accepted, there were more children in the Wammy's House anyway. You can add your own little genius :P
I was thinking of also maybe taking the rp after Light's death, but then it's just Near :/ lemme know what you thiiink, lets make this fun

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, I hated that gap. It depressed me. >.< After I saw that Mello was in the mafia (or was it technically the Mafiya?) I was just... ugh. >.< Then again, this is coming from a guy who loves Beyond Birthday, so my perception of sadness is... strange. Count me in! (I'd love to be B, obviously, but by that time in the anime, B was regarded as dead, so I'll think of something. ^.^)

Awh shiiiiiiiiiit, someone's read that novel besides me? BB is a friggin' boss with his Shinigami Eyes, not to mention he (almost) outsmarted L.

I'd obviously love to try my hand at either Near or Matt, only thing is I'd expand Near's personality and what not to explain why he's such a shut-in and what not.

As for a story-line, could just make it within Wammy's House itself, either saying Light never happened, or is just about to happen. Considering L would have his hands full with that, I could see Matt, Mello, BB, and Near racing to receive his favor to become his successor and what not.

Or just have it be a slice of life with aforementioned characters inside Wammy's.

He'll be Near's replacement, since I believe Wammy's would have the capability to plan that far ahead. (This is assuming that we do start directly after L died and Near took over, as you said in the first post.)

By the way, B outsmarted L. He merely underestimated Naomi Misora. And I'm writing a story about B, actually, if you want to check out "Sasha's Scribblings" in the Gallery. I think it's coming along well.

Speaking of Near's replacement, I feel an obligation to devert everyone's attention to this guy. Hell, I could even port Slow into this RP if Near's already taken up the mantle of L.

Is it strange that I almost said, "I'll be S."? I figured it was a bit cliched. But apparently not. XD If you really want to do Slow, I suppose I could let you be the man to (theoretically) take over for Near and I could be the Mello to your Near.

Hawh, funny thing is, considering the RP I made him for was 20 years post Light, I was coming up with names of former Wammy children starting with O, P, Q, and R, I was going insane with it.

I'd only like to do Slow if Near is a no go.

Funny thing, Slow had his own Mello who became his Watari, too bad that RP never got off the ground, I would've loved to RP the dynamics of that duo.

If you read his sheet, I even gave Slow his own list of quirks and stuff, I got way too much into it.

I did read it. No such thing as giving a character too much detail! If you'd like, I could try and help resurrect that RP. Later, of course, after this one. I have no problem playing a subordinate, as long as I'm also a super-genius.

I mean, er... I have no problem playing a subordinate.

By the way, this sounds like self-plugging, but hardly anyone I've met on the site knows who BB is. Would you mind terribly giving my short story a glance? Not now, necessarily, but some time? I need feedback, and no one in my family will help, nor will any of my friends. :forever alone:

As for preferred plot, I could go either or, I've always wanted a chance at RPing Near to expand his personality, but then again, I put a lot of effort into Slow just to never use him.

Hell, I shall now selfishly refer you to a sheet for Near that I made. (Boom)
