Well sure. But we've been pointing out for years that Obama's distancing himself from Israel was going to be a horrible idea, and let terrorists back into the game. Now it's happening. We all pointed out that reducing the size of the US military overall, while pivoting out of the area and declaring our withdrawal timeline from Afghanistan as "set in stone, 2014," was going to empower the bad guys to erase all the progress we made in the region; and now it's happening too. People are dying.

I know, right? All these people dying is serious! America needs a president that will go out and protect the world from itself, not some pansy like Obama! Hell, why should they stop at the Middle East? We need to protect the whole wide world from these bad guys!

People are always dying. People will always die. Keeping the army over there wasn't stopping the terrorists very much, seeing as how they launched rockets at Israel anyways while the US was there. In any case, it's not like Israel is gonna be screwed without US support, seeing as it's been doing pretty fine as a state even though it's neighbours have been really keen on getting rid of it for the last few decades.
Besides, you americans already have a military bigger than the next 5 countries combined, and most of those are your allies. You could do with a smaller army, I'd say.
