Welcome to Darkside. The world has now acknowledged that weres, shifters etc exist. Although some people still believe they should be put down.
Darkside
Darkside is an organisation, to keep some sort of order on those who are different from humans. Orginally formed 20 years previously by Megera Firstblood, a pureblood vampire and also a lady of the vampiric court, to make sure that rogue vampires didnt expose them to the humans. Although she tends to take in anyone who may need help. She runs a sort of half way house, allowing anyone in unless a danger to others, in which case she tends to lock them in the basement.
Plot
The story begins as Slash has begun a killing spree within a human city, Megera was already in the city as she is running the half way house; the rumour that the Knights have come to the city to purge all supernatural beings from the city.
Megera Firstblood
Apperance Age: 21
Vampiric Age: 200
Higher Lady of the Court, as well as Founder of Darkside, making her judge of any injustice brought to her to deal with
Apperance: At 5"7 and a curvy figure, her ebony black plaited hair thrown over her left shoulder to show the hilt of her sword, normally wearing black leather trousers and peasant top. Her skin pale, showing off her violet eyes, when she smiles her fangs show giving her a more deadly apperance.
Weapons: Constantly carries a sword across her back known as Abominor, as well as katar hidden under her sleeves, 2 daggers hidden on the inside of her boots and a short sword on her hip.
Abilities: Telepathy and Telekinses
Bio: Born a vampire and raised in the courts she made herself one of the most popular memeber of the courts, until Slash destroyed her family within one night. Ever since she has been hunting the vampire who killed her youngest brother, ripping him to shreds.
This lead her to form the organisation Darkside
White Knights
A human based organisation set up to kill and destroy everything that is not human after the founder Richard Firtree's daughter was slaughtered by the infamous Alec Gorge better know as Slash, a rogue vampire wanted for killing half the vampire royals and many of the were mates. After his daughter was slaughtered he slowly went mad however he was brought to his end by another unknown being as his body was found with the chest open.
Rules
1. Weres and Vampires are friendly eneimies, but not constantly at their throats
2. Any sort of Twilight like vampire aka golden eyes and we are vegetarian will be denied
3. Vampires can only live on human blood and only need to drain a victim once ever 2 months or feed a little every week.
4. Weres are illergic to any form of silver on the skin, if shot can be killed if enters the chest, if shot in the head instant death, otherwise it will kill them slowly if not dug out.
5. Magic users have limited powers, after so long they need to recharge normally through sleep
6. Vampires and weres can have abilities but limited

Who is this world run by? King? President?
In theory its made up of a collaboration along the same sort guide as the English Parliament, with several fractions.
White Knights: whom wish that supernatural beings be destroyed and that humans should rule all
Vampiric Court: Which fights for the rights of vampires and control vampire action however are failing in some sense to keep new fledglings (new vampires) from killing their blood donners.
Were Council: Several members whom control the packs across the country and the world
Fae Queen: They do not really get involved in mortal politics and their seat is regularly empty when the meetings are in session
Human Councilman: Generally tries to keep the peace and fight for the rights of humans and for those humans with abilities however the current one is siding more with the White Knights
Each of the members who attend a quarterly meeting unless an emergency session is called; is also the lead of their certain fraction.

Yes that would actually be very interesting; but in the bio explain how they have been able to keep their identity as a magic user secret.

Name: Chantelle Black
Age: Appears 20- Real age is 1000
Race & Postion: Vampire original (One of the very first vampires.)
Chantelle is a very notorious vampire within the vampiric community. Many consider her royalty and the superior. Although she has a chair within the vampiric court, she finds the humans matters fairly pointless to years of experience with their intolerance, so rarely is even involved within the meetings. Technically, close to a rogue as she enjoys the human blood and the capturing, but will not make the vampiric community in danger (A neutral to all vampires.)
Appearance: 5ft6". Chantelle is very slim with obvious curves. He face is very beautiful with high cheek bones, big blue eyes and excessively long eye lashes. Her fangs when retracted seem to make her look even more attractive than normal, and her sculpted looking lips look bigger. Her hair is bleach blonde and falls in waves to around 5 inches before her bum.
Weapons: Her very ancient skills are her main weapon, but usually carries around a black sword with a ruby encrusted handle and two blades of similar appearance.
Abilities: Compulsion

Bio: Chantelle was one of the original Vampires. Although no one apart from her and her brothers knows how it happened. They learned and evolved their ways and then began turning people. Chantelle has been of both the good and bad side, and considers herself a neutral force. However, contact with her family has descended due to the problems between vampires and humans. Witches created her ann item of hers which if was always kept on her, protected her from sunlight, but that's a secret im going to leave out.

Bio: He raised an orphan thief company. He did this to keep all of the orphans alive. Unfortunately the royal gaurds found out about the orphans and slaughtered them all. Only Alexei is left and with regret in heart he gave up the whole thief business. He now travels around the world with survival as his only motivation.

Bio: Kane was turned by his mother she was turned by a insane vampire. Her bloodlust took control of her and made her turn him. He killed her. Now Kane has lived for many years. He helped form the vampiric court to protect his fellow vampires and stop people from treating them unfairly.
