February 9, 1926
Lawyer. Currently helping the parliament execute the Clean Air Act.
One brother, who is living in New York. Richard is now engaged to Doris Gray.
Very cogent, intimidating, and confident. Richard has won many cases on his charming alpha qualities. His intelligence is superb and his appearance is a close second, always dressed and groomed nicely. Whenever a problem arises, he tends to it logically, analyzing every detail for any minor flaw, ready to pounce on the offensive after making the defense secure. Richard appears to be more focused on his career than his relationship with Doris, although he believes he makes up for his lack of presence with expensive gifts.
Richard was born into the wealthy McGraw family, made up of lawyers, doctors, politicians, and any other prestigious title. After completing high school with straight A's, his parents payed his way through college with the unnecessary help of multiple scholarships. Upon graduation, he was immediately accepted into a law firm where he worked his way up the ladder in promotions. Meanwhile, his father had died of Syphilis. Immediately afterwards his mother died from alcohol poisoning, too depressed with not only the death of her husband, but the fact that she had been cheated on for so many years and could one day have the same fate.
One day Richard and his fellow lawyers decided to have dinner and a show in celebration of a recent success. This is where he met the love of his life, Doris Gray. She was singing like an angel, her dress flattering to her womanly figure, causing Richard's jaw to drop and his eyes to pop. The other lawyers poked fun at him for his sudden loss of composure, causing him to blush and force himself to eat his untouched food. When they were all about to leave, he had felt a hand upon his shoulder. Turning around, he saw it was the beautiful singer herself. Introductions commenced, followed by a proposal of coffee in the morrow, then multiple dates afterwards, all leading up to the engagement - promises of a future wedding with an undecided date set.
After his proposal, Richard was requested by the Parliament of the United Kingdom to help plan out and pass the Clean Air Act which was in response to London's Great Smog of 1952. Deciding that his career was more important than immediately getting married, Richard and Doris mutually decided to hold out for a later time when he wouldn't be so busy.
