Do you expect a mathematically sound calculation of levels and perks or just a rough estimation?
Where were you when you heard it?
Were you close enough to see the tower fall?
Did you hear the crumbling echo?
Or did you hear about it from word of mouth?
It has been five years since the Dovahkiin allegedly traveled to Sovngarde and banished Alduin from this world once and for all. Or so they claim. Few knew about the Dovahkiin's mission, but Alduin has not been sighted since. It is assumed to be the truth. In that time, the civil war in Skyrim has taken a turn for the bloodier. Aided by various people of incredible skills, forts have been captured and recaptured. Who has control of a hold is never constant; only the red stained waters and snow serve as a consistent reminder of the permanency of the war. Broken homes and orphaned children liter the streets of Solitude and Windhelm. There is currently no end in sight.
During these five years, there have been various strives by different factions in Skyrim and Tamriel as a whole:
The Dawnguard has recently revived in an old fort near Riften. Attacks on the Vigilants of Stendarr have driven them to seek their aid. They are looking for help from sell swords and adventurers to put down a vampire menace.
The Thieves Guild has gained increased presence throughout all of Skyrim and has even been bolstered in other parts of Tamriel. Rumors say this is thanks to the wealth generated by a paragon restored by the new guild leader. Using this wealth for bribes and recruitment, the thieves guild has gained the largest network of moles and informants in Skyrim. Information has become a powerful and valuable resource, and is becoming the life blood of the guild every bit as much as jewels.
The Dark Brotherhood is on the rise after their successful assassination of Emperor Titus Mede II. With a Listener next to the Night Mother, the Brotherhood has begun to recruit. With contracts being fulfilled, the Brotherhood is restoring both its numbers and its honor. While still rare outside Skyrim, assassinations in The Black Marsh and Alinor have informed Tamriel that no one is outside their reach any longer.
But today is not about events in that war torn country of Skyrim. Today is about the Imperial City. Today is about the stars.
Just a few weeks ago, after surviving eras, the White-Gold Tower crumbled in a fiery explosion that blew debris through half of Cyrodiil. Half the citizens of the Elven Garden district died when the tower collapsed through their homes or in the following explosions. A terrible and troubling blow to the Empire and all of Tamriel. No one is sure quite how it happened: Without anyone being seen, it was as if a hundred explosions at key points in the structure destabilized the building. No perpetrator was found. While most mourn the loss of the ancient symbol of the of both man and mer, mages at various universities have become far more concerned with the strange event that happened just afterwards:
The Tower faded from the sky.
Sign Ups: Five positions available, with five different sign ups.
Name:
Race:
Gender:
Age:
Appearance:
History:
Skills/Perks: Assume you are roughly level 50. If you use magic, include spells. For the purpose of this campaign, a good number of skills and spells from previous games are available, such as the skills Unarmored, Unarmed, Acrobatics, and Weapon Specializations. (Spear, Short Blade, Long Blade, instead of just 'One handed') Ask if there was a spell in a past game you want that is not currently available.
Stats: While not as relevant, I would like a listing for your character's assumed stats under the old Oblivion/Morrowind System. (Rough estimate of your Str, End, Per, Luck, Will, Int, Agi, and Spd)
Shouts: I can see some of you knowing one or two words relevant to your career, like the Listener knowing Marked for Death. Do not go overboard.
Equipment: (If you want any artifact level things, request them here.) You can assume you have anything acquired during your quest.
The Dovahkiin:
Did you support the Stormcloaks, the Empire, or did you remain neutral during negotiations?
Are you planning to side with the Greybeards or the Blades in the case of the Pathunaax issue?
What have you been doing since Alduin was defeated?
The Archmage:
How much time and how many resources are being dedicated to dealing with the aftershock of the Eye of Magnus event?
What did you do with the masque of Morokei?
What are you spending your time doing?
The Listener:
How have you spent your time? Have you been focusing on performing contracts, or recruiting?
Did you let Cicero live?
The Harbringer:
How many of yours have you allowed to end their lycanthrope?
Are you considering ending yours yourself?
How far did you delve into the totemic powers of a werewolf, and how many werewolf perks do you have?
The Nightengale:
Have you chosen to keep the skeleton key, or turn it in to your mistress?
Have you recovered the Stones, and restored the Paragon?
How wide spread has the Thieves guild's influence spread, and how are you spreading it further?

what
I am considering this rp a great deal. The Nightengale appeals to me but, I ask about the Listener as well. Must the Listener be sneak based like the Nightengale? Also is vampirism allowed?
I don't want to pile more questions on to the poor GM, but I am really interested, but never got into the elder scrolls until Oblivion/Skyrim, so I'm not stellar with the mathematics. I suppose really I'm seconding Hanks concern about if an accurate statlist is really necessary?
If its something you think you need then fair enough, but you might be math-blocking people otherwise interested in joining.
Making a CS for the listener with the Oblivion stat system. I'll try to remember my stats to thebest of my abliliy, but no promises since I haven't played Oblivion since I went blind.

Ahh, right. I would say yes, but of course, not for the Harbinger. But remember, it has weaknesses that will have to be played out.
