Heroes in Training

Name: Marcus Crepley
Age: 12
Appearance: Already a handsome boy, he has a thin face with sharp features. Marcus has dark hair, left long in the cavalier's style that's popular among Nyuvenian nobility. He's a little on the short side, having not reached a major growth spurt yet.
Marcus was given two rugged sets of cloths(trousers, a shirt and vest) and a pair of decent boots. Otherwise, his father has cut him off financially.
Personality: Marcus is used to having people obey him, and coming to Roland's home is a little jarring to him. He has an air of superiority, but if you can best him at something it takes him down a peg pretty quickly. He has a sharp wit, and exercises it freely on the other students, and sometimes on Roland as well. Jayce is always there to put him down, though.
Family: His father is the Black Duke ruling the Northern regions of the country, near Nyuvenia's border with Horschnell, goblin country. It's the Duke's responsibility to maintain the walls that keep the goblins out. If a goblin is found in Nyuvenia, it's considered the Duke's fault.
Marcus has a very good education, at least in the things that nobility values. He can read and write, do arithmetic and was just learning fencing when he mouthed off to his teachers one too many times. His father, disappointed in his attitude, sent him off to live with Roland, his own younger brother, intending for the hardened hero to straighten him out.

It's plenty, I just realized that Roland is currently swamped by girls. Kinda weird that more girls than boys showed up for hero training, you know?

True.. hm.. there was a reason why I said Aw'del might be the odd duck in the group, but I suppose that really depends on what social aspects the group focuses on. I don't want to ruin the surprise though - just in case it comes up.

A character is forming already. I'll give a one minute concept now as a rough draft.

A mute kid with a fire inside whom may be swayed to the sword or arcane. Not terribly clever, but he catches on easily enough.
