Founded in 1867 by three of the greatest magicians of that time - Mary Blackshaw, Frederick Hornsnout and Phoenix Irkwood - Hartwells School is known to the entire wizarding world to be one of the finest institutes to teach Magical Studies to this day. The Headmistress, Penelope Francis, has ruled over the school for 40 years, and had made sure for that whole time that the students excel as much as they can while at Hartwells. This school, my friend, is the best of the best.
This roleplay will take a lot of inspiration from Harry Potter. It's not essential that you've read the books or seen the movies, but it will obviously help your understanding of how this roleplay works. But don't get confused, this isn't a Harry Potter roleplay, it's more adapted. There will be all original spells, places, names, and this school in not only for wizards, but for other mystical creatures. Please don't mistake this for a Harry Potter roleplay.

-No godmodding etc, etc, etc. You've heard it all before, I know. Just don't do it.
-PG-13, I'm okay with swearing and sex and everything, but keep it PG-13 or go to pms, I can't really have erotic fiction going on, kay?
-Usual roleplay rules apply, you know the drill. If I don't like something you're doing and I tell you to, I'm expecting you to respect my wishes or get kicked out. I think I'm pretty fair.
-Take constructive criticism as what it is, constructive. If I tell you some aspects of your writing are bad and tell you how you can improve it, take that in. Don't get annoyed with anyone for trying to help you improve your writing skills.
-Have fun with this, I'm looking forward to it.
I'll be in need of a Co-GM to help carry on this roleplay if I'm ever not around, which will happen sometimes. Feel free to offer your help, but only if I can rely on you.
Class Schedules:
Once the IC is up, I will set schedules for every school year. Depending on how much time I have to make them, I'll either give you some choice or just set everyone the same (everyone in the same year) schedule for more social interaction in lessons.
Spells and Wands:
When the IC is up, I will give a choice of wands, the wood, core etc. I'll make a list of spells when they're needed also. Please do not use spells from Harry Potter unless I specifically tell you to.
Dorms:
There will be three people in every dorm room. The students in those dorm rooms can be at the most one school year apart. When the time comes, I'll figure out who shares a room with who, but I can only do that when I know how many people are going to participate in this roleplay.
