Ixonia had maneuvered into place and was happy enough where she was so she sat down to have a drink. She also used her bathroom for she knew that it would be quite a while before she would have a time out. Then she wound her headscarf around her neck so that if they did get a sudden burst of sand devils, she could pull up the scarf to protect her nose and mouth and down over her eyes so that they too could see.
After a few swallows of her 'tea', her throat was well coated and felt fine.

Zinzie nodded to the man and got back onto his driver's seat to pass the through the gate. Once his back was turned, a large grin broke across his face. He could hardly contain the excitement of going on a new adventure. He was sure Orren didn't feel the same way, but perhaps some new people would help him come out of his grumpy little shell. Once inside, Zinzie was approached by a young woman who asked if he was joining them.
"That I am, my good lady," He chirped, quite happily. "I'm very much looking forward to it, too. Never gotten a chance to see the desert before."

Orren, who was still hunkered in the back of the covered wagon, peered out curiously to see what was going on. He too had never seen the desert. He had never seen the outside of his home city before Zinzie came along.

Chi paused, she herself had never really seen the dessert either. She cocked her head to the side as she thought, "Well I suppose I haven't seen the dessert either now that I think about it" she had noticed that he knew straight away that she was a girl, he was more observant than he first seemed.

"I came to ask if I could possibly ride with your friend on the back of your wagon, my names Chi Minami by the way" she still kept her eyes averted but the gypsy man seemed very friendly and carefree. His friend seemed like he had a lot to say but no real way to say it. She thought on the matter, "do you and your friend have any special skill that made you want to come along?" she asked, it seemed most of the people here did, besides herself.
