New York City. One of the most feverishly active cities in the world. It's the home of some of the greatest superhero team to ever grace the planet Earth. The Avengers, X-Men, Thunder Bolts, New Warriors, The Defenders, and the Fantastic Four. But our story isn't about those big named heroes. Instead it takes place in the confines of Manhattan, New York. A place of corruption of injustice that hasn't seen the light of heroics in a long time. Fortunately S.H.I.E.L.D has it's eyes set on four super-powered individuals that live or have just moved into the city. These four may not know it now but, one day they'll clean this city of it's crime. For now they attend Mid-Town High, teenagers with little knowledge on what it means to be a hero. Hopefully they'll learn in time to protect the innocents and bring about the fruition of a new team. A team Nick Fury has a constant belief in. A team that would one day go by.....X-Tech.

Okay not the best intro but, it works. This is an interest check for a super-hero rp about for teenagers working within Manhattan and living out their lives. We're all roughly the same age within the highschool. You may take any canon hero and turn him/her teen whilst scaling his/her powers appropriately. I have a story in mind but, all depends on what characters are PC. The rule is though that any canon character that you control then they must differ from the current hero in some degree. History, Personality, Apperance, and maybe even powers must have some degree of change.

We only need four to five rpers within this rp and that's all were accepting. Me and Sloth are here so that leaves only two to three slots open. We have a suggestion on characters that we would like to see but, you may interchange any character for another that you would like to be. Remember the characters we post are only a suggestion but, aren't mandatory.

Fucking Starks, how do they work?

He's arrogant, and overall very self-confident, Casanova and one of the overall popular kids. He is lazy and doesn't take orders from anyone. He is witty and is more than a little chatty. He will mouth off to anyone about what's on his mind, no matter how offended someone might get. He's fairly immature, and overall somewhat of a douche. However, he would never pick on someone inferior to him, and he stands up for those who can't defend themselves. Most of his entire Douchebag-persona is all just a way to keep people out, and to keep himself distant from his real feelings.

He's a genius, with his IQ being over that of several Nobel-Price winning scientists, and some would say that his mind is Super-Human.



Appearance:
Usually wearing something simple, a t-shirt and ripped jeans. However, whenever he needs to go into the role of being the young CEO of Stark-Industries, he is usually wearing dress-pants with a dress shirt and matching shoes.

In costume, he wears a Red Hoodie, with a pair of Golden Shades, as well as Black jeans. He wears a thin Exoskeleton under the outfit, that provides him with slightly increased physical attributes (about 40%) as well as has durability slightly more advanced than Kevlar, allowing it to take small caliber firearms without much damage more than a little pain.

He also utilizes Pulse-cannon Gloves, and a jet-pack as well as Rocket-boots.




Abilities:

Genius Intellect: Few people in the world are able to match his brain.
Master Engineer.
Unique mind-set.
Positive.
Charming and talkative, able to talk his way out of most situations.

Powers:

He's Mother-effing Tony Stark. He doesn't need any powers.


History:
Born to the Stark-Empire. His father, the CEO of Stark Industries. His life was "Fairly normal" for a rich kid like himself. Even as a toddler he was able to solve various mathematical problems, and he build rather impressive structures with his LEGO. His father sent him to various boarding schools as a child, where against all the presumptions people had of him, Tony only had mediocre grades, making people in fact not acknowledge him for the genius he was. His grades was, like previously stated mediocre, and it let his father down. Why were they "bad"? Simple. Things was too easy for Tony ,he never paid any attention, nor did he ever really do any assignments, it all bored him.

He wanted to make a difference in the world, to change it, if he could find a way to do so. He kept on getting into trouble in the schools, as he was "talking back to the teacher", when he was indeed correcting the teachers on how their theories were wrong. He got expelled alot, either from getting into a fight, or from messing with the teachers. He sure was troublesome.

When he was 14, his father died in an accident ,his plane crashed. Tony, howeve, was convinced that his fathed had been murdered. Since his father was dead, he was put into the care of the closest friend and Board-member of Stark Industries. Wilson Fisk. The man took care of Tony, and even helped him in his investigation about the plane crash, however, they found no evidence.

But Tony knew something was wrong about it, and it drove him to protecting those who couldn't protect themselves. It made him into building the exo-skeleton, and the rest of the gear that he used. It also led to him building his Artificial Intelligence, J.A.R.V.I.S. He was sent to go to a community school in

Charming, arrogant and more self-confident than God himself. He's not so much witty as some would expect, no. He is a total ladies man, able to talk his way with any lady. He's somewhat kind, but also a real prankster, he will mess with anyone with no better reason than that it's fun.
He is nice and brave, but he is also selfish, and rarely does anything unless he himself can gain something from it.

A modern-day rogue.



Appearance:

His pupils are black ,while his iris are red. However, in school, he wears lenses that makes them look blue.

In costume, he wears a beige trenchcoat, as well as a black bandanna over his forehead, to tie back his hair, as well as a pair of black shades to hide his eyes.




Abilities:
Adept In the Martial Art of Savante.
Master Thief and Pick-pocketer.
Pin-point accurate.
Peak Human Agility.



Powers:
Kinetic Manipulation: Ability to control the kinetic forces in his own body, but also kinetic forces that effects his body. redirecting Kinetic Energy is fairly easy ,but neglecting it requires great concentration, such as blocking the kinetic force of a bullet, to prevent himself from getting shot.

He cane also use this power to charge an object with Kinetic Energy, that hardens the object and makes it explode after a set amount of time. The explosion varries, depending on how much Energy Remy put into the object, but the typical amount is about half the power of a frag-grenade.

Hypnotic Charm:

The ability to "Pursuade" virtually anyone into doing what he want. However, the effects are subtle, most would just roll it off as his charm. It overall makes people like him more. The power is passive, and barely even Remy knows about it. However, if someone would recognize that they are under the influence of the Hypnotic power, it will be completely useless on them.



History:
Born in New Orleans, his mother had left him at the porch of a random house when he was 4 months old, calling him " The White Devil." because of his eyes. He was raised by a Cajun family, whom had ties to the Thieves Guild in New Orleans. He was raised in the guild, taught from a very young age the tricks and tips of being a pick-pocketer. Of course, this was at the start of the digital age and all, but all the same, the sleight of hand was an important task for this young man. He was trained in the use of Savate by the guild in order to defend himself.

He eventually left the guild, as a 14 year old and set out into the world. He left New Orleans, and sat his eyes on New York, but on his way to the big city, he felt a strange sensation, a strange power flowing inside of him. One that he had no way of controlling. That was when he came to Jack Seeze, a man who specialized in these kind of things. Jack taught him how to control his power, and used his own powers to seal away the mayority of Remy's incredible amounts of energy, not to be able to be used by Remy till he had gained full control over his powers.

It had taken him almost a year, making him be after in schoolwork, as such, he rolled into MidTown-High as a 16 year old, starting his freshman year.

Now, a senior and 19 years old, he's doing petty crimes, but also stops bad guys on his free-time.

Appearance: Peter Parker. To most, a stereotypical nerd in today's High-School society: The Albert Einstein T-shirts, the Mass Effect zip-up hoodie, the vans sneakers, all of it. One of Peter's biggest nerd traits were his glasses, which were absurdly big to compensate for his absolutely shit eye-sight, however, after acquiring his powers, his physical condition has increased ten-fold. He now bolsters a firm, muscular physique, and has even taken up the hobby of skateboarding.

Abilities and Skills:

• After acquiring his powers, Peter soon honed his new-found acrobatic ability, and is now more agile and nimble than even the finest Olympic athletes.
• Peter has a highly advanced intellect on par with the likes of some of the world's greatest minds, such as Curt Connors, Otto Octavius, and Bruce Banner.
• Peter nearly prides himself on his quick-wit and strategic thinking, being able to analyze and formulate plans in most all situations.

Equipment:

• Peter uses self-made web-shooters to further emulate the abilities of a Spider, a testament to his intelligence and creativity.
• Aforementioned web-shooters use another home-brew creation of Peter's: a textile, nigh-indestructible synthetic webbing which can hold upwards of several tons without breaking.
