Elemental Amulets- Hunt for the Duo

Hello All Advanced RPers. I am fairly new here, but i am not new to the world Of RPing. I Even went and made an entire world, for a Character of mine, and have turned it into an RP. Seeing as this is simply a Interest Check, I'll just put the plot, but those interested, please post, saying so.

The Quest For the Duo

Plot: Long Ago, a Group of Mages Gathered, With the Intent to Make Items, With Control of the Nine Elements; Fire; Earth; Water; Wind; Lightning; Poison; Blood; Light; and Dark. After Many Attempts, the Mages Were Finally Able To Make These Items, In the Form of Amulets. Unfortunately, And Explosion That Occurred Soon after the Amulets Were Made Caused the Amulets To- not only scatter the Amulets across The Land of Lostoria- But also destroyed the Mages, Along with The Knowledge to Create Such Items. Many Years Passed, with people believing that The Amulets Were Just That: Amulets. Slowly, People Started to learn about The Amulets Powers, But only a few Knew As to Where the Amulets Came From, and even then, they were at best, Rumors. One Day, At a Village, A group of 10 Travelers Came, Each in a Different Colored Robe. The Tenth was Just in a Plain white Robe. With Them, The 9 travelers Said- “I have spoken to the Soul of The Amulet; and it has in return, great power of my Element.” The 9 Travelers seemed to be led by the 10th Traveler. The Travelers Said They only wished to help any and all who requested it. With Their Amulets, The 9 Travelers Performed Miracles, Which The Villagers Thought Impossible… All Except their leader. He Merely Helped as any Normal Person Would. One Day, A villager asked one of the Travelers “Why Do You Follow Him, If He Does Not Even Possess an Amulet?” The Traveler Merely Responded, “He Has More Power, Than The 9 of Us, Put Together.” A couple days later, The “Amulet Masters”- As They Called Themselves- Vanished without a Trace, Leaving All That They Had Done. However, At the Same Time, A Traveling Duo Would Travel, Find a Village, And the Next Day, It Would Be As Though the Place was ransacked by an Army, Leaving No Survivors. Just As This Duo Appeared, The 10 Travelers Disappeared. Now, By order of King Venlor, A Group of Amulet Users Is Being Gathered, With Two Objectives: 1: Find the Amulet Master’s, Or 2: Destroy the Traveling Duo. You Have Just Received The Letter Asking For Your Assistance… Will You Accept?

Now, For this plot to fully kick off, like I want, I'm gonna need nine characters total, that equal all nine races, and nine elements, with no overlapping.

I have a few questions,first are there more than 9 amulets or are their weaker versions of them ? I'm interested just trying to see what skills/abilities we can have to start off with ?

Color me interested. I like the idea of a lightning or water amulet user. Leaning more toward water. I have a race that I could create and flesh out too-- humanoid with distinctive differences.

There are set races, elements, and classes you may use.

as for availability, all are open, as i havent posted any of the chara creation.

with the amulets, its unknown how many there are, but there are many for every element, some even contains two elements, and rarely, three. however, never more than three. and an amulet cant change elements. i can explain more later, but i just wanna see how many are interested.
