It was another day. Another day that was just as plain and boring as the next. The day had begun with the typical talk from her parents that she should apply herself to her work. They were insistant that went parent teacher conferences came around that they wouldn’t find that she had not completed any homework for the year. However, no matter what they would say, it was a guarantee that Katarina would not listen. By now she was just plain tired of putting up a charade.
What importance did school have upon her life? She had enough education and knowledge of history. She hadn’t spent her time as a spirit doing nothing. She knew history better than the history teachers. She watched as math grew and developed. Sure there were a few ‘science’ fact she was a bit hazy on, but then again how would science explain magic or vampires? It wouldn’t and if it did then maybe she’d listen.
She shut the door of the locker as she held a single notebook. There was no need to drag around the textbooks for each of her classes. It was best that they just sat in her locker collecting dust. She brushed her hand through her blonde hair as she walked down the hallway towards her classroom. Today was going be just like any other day. That was a guarantee.
