EDITHA
The blonde checked her reflection in the mirror and she cleaned her lips with a napkin and her index finger, before adding another slick of lipgloss. Behind her, her brother disposed of the body by ordering some others to clean it up. Edith smoothed out her dress and ensured she looked to her best, before she turned around and smiled in that wicked manner of hers. "Shall we return to your party?" She mocked slightly. At his return grin, Edith slinked across the room and walked back out of the room. She looked to the masses and spotted Rebekah with Damon, her younger sibling seemingly pouting. The house reeked of teenage angst and drama, and Edith clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth. Back when she was human, they were married off young. Edith herself being married before her mother turned her. Of course, it was a secret marriage to someone who would not have been approved. Now, it seemed nothing but drama, tantrums and gossip. Edith looked to Klaus and saw him concentrating on someone, and she turned and followed his gaze. Edith couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Really, Niklaus?" Edith stated, and as his stern face turned to look at her, Edith shook her head and walked away.
Edith picked up a glass of champagne and she walked through the hall, sipping at the expensive bubbly. She ignored the looks she gained from others, and her cold shoulder and obvious connection to the family left many almost in awe of the female. She drained her glass as she walked to the dancing hall and she observed the end of the Waltz. As Rebekah and Damon ended their dance, Edith tilted her head to the side a little and observed him. There was a certain feral charm to him that Edith found intriguing. "Nothing but a chew toy for you" Klaus whispered in her ear as he walked past and made his exit, raising an eyebrow at her. Weren't most? Edith was a very challenging character and certainly powerful, being an Original and a Hybrid meant she was dangerous. Still, could she not have her fun? Even if he couldn't keep up.
Giving her glass to a stranger, Edith began to walk forwards when Rebekah appeared before her. "What are you doing here?" Asked she, and Edith's face froze and quickly turned to one of agitation.
"Hello Rebekah" Replied Edith, and her glare gave Rebekah cause to fault a little.
"Got your little spies still following Klaus, I see" Rebekah replied. "You know, you come and you go and..." But Edith cut her off, not wanting to hear anymore of her tantrum.
"Enough. I am not interested in hearing another of your desperate stories of your Loyalty to out brother. Lets not forget, which one of us he staked" Edith said in a cool and sharp tone. Rebekah's face fell and hurt riddled her, to which Edith just smiled. "Always so desperate" Edith added. In a fit of rage, Rebekah swung back her arm ready to strike Edith, but Edith was faster. Her hand snatched Rebekah's fist, and her fingers clenched and slowly started crushing her hand. Rebekah squealed and started to double over, but Edith didn't stop but just glared into her sisters eyes.
NILAUS
Quite the turn of events this had brought. He was very pleased that his twin had returned, she would now play a very key in his plan. Edith could not be tamed, much like himself, but she always came to him when he needed aid. So he could not help but smirk as he walked alongside her and out of the room. But of course the smirk faded when she made her comment. Caroline had gotten underneath her skin, that was true. But he would not tolerate mocking for it. But Edith walked away before he could retort, and he simply settled for turning his attention back to Caroline. But the blonde left the house soon enough and headed out to the back. With little contemplation on the matter, Klaus walked forwards and stopped only beside Edith, who seemed to be observing Damon Salvatore. Now that was a comment worthy situation. "Nothing but a chew toy for you" he stated, and walked away without hesitation, or returning to witness the dispute between Edith and Rebekah.
He stepped outside the mansion and looked up to see Caroline, standing by the fence and watching the horses as they grazed. He simply admired her for a moment, before he followed the path down. He approached her and stopped to her side, looking to the horses also. Klaus did not recall having horses, it was no doubt his mothers enforcement, to make them look more peaceful. The house was filled with Vampires that were over 1000 years old, they were not peaceful. The return of Esther meant nothing but trouble for him and Edith. Esther never was overly fond of the dominant daughter she had, never quite forgiving her secret marriage. But yes, the horses really were a little too much.
"So, you like the horses?" He asked her, and by her look she was not at all thrilled. Klaus once again smiled, she had the uncanny knack of amusing him. She was so feisty and determined to appear strong in front of him. Perhaps she was, maybe that was why he was so enthralled. She quickly told him she was not talking, not until he explained why he had invited her.
"I fancy you" Klaus replied, simply and honestly. She looked a little flustered at this, although again played it down and she made herself hide it. "Is that so hard to believe?" And naturally, she didn't believe him. Klaus turned to face her, and with a straight face and almost dangerous eyes, he explained. ""You're beautiful... You're strong... You're full of light" he informed, and his hand reached out and tucked loose hair away from her face and he stepped into her, leaving very little space between them. "I enjoy you" he whispered.
