Oh no you don't. I'll repeat Tancreds weaknesses. RANGED COMBAT. Aradeth is a ranged specialist. In short, if you fight her and she gets ANY amount of distance for her to draw the bow and fire at you you are screwed. Why you ask? because Tancred has no ranged weaponry. SO, if Fredrick fights her he has magic, Tancred has the ability to run in gigantic heavy armor, on foot, against an archer.

She also has throwing knives.

While she isn't bad at close combat, against Tancred, she stands little chance in melee. :/

Maybe he'll think she's a weak woman and leave her alone till the end. Assuming she lasts that long.

AND AND AND! if you'll pay attention to the CS it says she's not terribly strong. meaning that bow she's got certainly isn't an english longbow, which means unless she has pinpoint accuracy, she isn't going to be wrecking Tancred's life, gothic plate was damn good, and it's german, so you know it's well made... just throwing all those facts out there... Tancred is never helpless and magic is for pussies...

and seriously, as long as she isn't a dick, he'd totally leave her til the end. Obviously she would have to pull her weight and help him, but he totally would. humans need to rule the universe, right?

Er... I was thinking of an english longbow, aka a warbow and whatever else it was called rofl.

Then again, it's weight is... Soo yeah, perhaps it isn't an english longbow.

English longbow + sword + shield + armor + supplies + knives + quiver = holy shit that's heavy.

an english longbow is a very large weapon, that takes a lot of strength, the average person certainly couldn't pull one, and your character doesn't seem to have a whole lot of time to dedicate to working out every second day. The weapons themselves aren't terribly heavy, but the bow wouldn't be much more than a bendy staff if you can't pull it...

and a warbow, as in, a bow used for war, can be just about any kind of bow...

She was a mercenary, and a soldier. Training constantly and regularly was important for her. But yes, I was thinking of that. It's a bit unwieldy and earlier I was agonizing over the amount of weapons she had and if I should discard the shield.

Hm my study of the english longbow was limited to a really quick google search and a scan of a document on it. Normally I'd put in at least a couple of hours worth of research on equipment, but I heard the IC was up so I rushed it and skipped most of the equipment research I'd usually do. Sorry if my knowledge has gaping holes in it.

Being a merc and a soldier doesn't mean much, I've seen some really fat soldiers XD and the image I created based off of your description wouldn't be able to pull a bow that heavy...

No worries though, I'm just here to point out inaccuracies and then go cry when no one listens to me, so do whatever you like...
