Wouldn't make much sense, seeing as how Comrades aren't mods. As far as I know, they have no administrative privileges whatsoever.

Correct about the privileges/authority, we have none. I don't think it has ever been said either way about the age. It cannot hurt to send word to Guru.

A farewell to the mods I never knew!

The 18+ requirement for mods is because of the graphic nature of quite a few reports and the legal issues that would arise from underage members seeing that material on a regular basis, from what I've gathered. Comrades don't go through anything like that, so I don't see the need for a strict age requirement there.

It's the same reason WOTM & AOTM staff don't need to be 18 to apply, despite the WOTM & AOTM accounts each having moderation privileges in the contest section of the forums; because we will very rarely, if ever, encounter a situation that might cross legal or adult boundaries that wouldn't affect everyone else. Seeing as how the Comrades don't even have moderation powers, I don't see how they would be anymore vulnerable than regular members are to adult content or general legal issues.
