Artificial Intelligence.
A term used to describe the intelligence born into something other than a natural creature. Usually associated with programs written that rewrite themselves based on circumstance. Until recently, it was too much to compare this intelligence to that of a person's - that is, until a Research and Development studio discovered a way to bridge the gap between the two. This was done by including biology into their efforts, adding an actual person's own brain waves into the program and letting it evolve by itself. This did not come cheap, however. Backed by a private military, the R & D department taught their A.I. the ways of war. Every martial art. Every strategy ever utilised on the battlefield. Every weapon on the planet's specs and the ability to use them all at once if the need be so dire. The ultimate weapon; one which could do it all, without the mortality of a human being. After all, A.I. could just be made again.
Your fate is failure.
That was what had been imprinted into the core of this singular A.I. The sentence replayed time and time again through it's processes until it simply would not forget, even if the information was lost.
Your fate is failure.
That was what he thought about, for the first time. What did that mean?

Power Core Activated - Booting...
System concludes activation after unauthorised ejection from pod. Synchronise relay with satellite XR-003.
His eyes opened gently, met with darkness. A diagnostic ran quickly, evaluating and concluding that his sight was not the issue but he was instead being blocked by something. With a subtle click, the power to the rest of his frame suddenly came into effect. Raising his right arm slowly, he curled the fingers and attempted to get used to the feeling of moving limbs himself. He had been born with a proper skeleton, made up of strong materials such as carbon fibre and diamond weave. The only thing that could break him was being propelled from a jet engine at the sound of speed and then being struck by another of him at the same velocity from the opposite direction. That being said, he was fit with a veil of skin and tissue that resembled that of muscle matter. A head full of shiny, blue hair. Eyes that could express what a normal man's would. Human. Yet not.
'Movement' systems running. Releasing locks...
Unable to synch with satellite XR-003. Location unknown. Verify locally.
He had awoken in an unfamiliar environment, having been stripped from his pod which offered the majority of his life-support systems while they were unsure if he could power himself effectively. Having just been woken for the first time and actually being able to make physical contact with both his inner systems and the external stimuli, it was beginning to get a little overwhelming. Because of this, he found it impossible to work out a possible reason as to why he was both unable to see and verify his location. Only one way to find out, then. Push until he could see. Flexing his fingers, he worked them until he had his palm pressed flat against the cool surface over his horizontal frame. At first, he only exerted a little power - wishing to see if his limb would actually take the force it was designed to utilise. So far so good. Slowly, he pushed harder, causing the box that contained him to creak under the pressure; it's metal sheets beginning to warp with the force on it's surface.
"Wait, do you hear that?" a muffled male voice from the other side of the material blocking him. Perhaps meeting him would shed some light on his current situation. With sudden eagerness, he slid his arm back until the elbow touched the floor of the box. Curling his fingers into a tight fist, he launched it upwards and stabbed the fist against it, causing it to bark in return - denting.
"Shit! Tell Joren!" a different voice, belonging to a female this time. Two people meant double the information and clarity. Why did she sound stressed, though?
He slammed his fist against the same dent, causing it to bend further outwards with the strike.
"This can't be happening... We haven't touched it yet! We don't know what it will do!" More desperate voices. How many people stood outside of this box? Don't worry, I'll be out soon. You can talk to me all you want - I'll gladly answer your questions if you'll answer mine. So many questions.
His arm broke through the metal sheet, sticking upright and fully stretched outwards, causing the group of men and women to gasp and suddenly stop - their breathes held in their lungs. The silence was odd and a little awkward for him as he slowly returned it inside the hole he had torn in the material. Another dent emerged from a second location, showing that he was indeed attempting to get free.
"Safety's off. Stop it from escaping. Kill it if you have to."
His arm stopped, much to the relief of a few of the group. Though some were more sceptical than others.
"I-I think it heard you..."
Indeed he had. 'Kill'. A word he was familiar with, as it was taught many times to him while he slept. It was associated with... It was associated with...
Parameters confirmed. Hostile zone. Evaluate target before termination.
His arm suddenly stormed into gear, ripping and tearing through the metal as though it were made of paper. Eventually, he had bashed a big enough hole in it that he could sit upright - his pale frame being devoured in the dim light of the small room. This was not outside. Standing from the box, he stepped out and towards the group of armed individuals, all of which looked a little desperate in the face of this terror. Everybody knew of what this android was capable. Would it go berserk here and now?
"Stop where you are! Take one more step and we will open fire! Do you understand me?!" a raised voice from either the most courageous or the most foolish. He looked up, inspecting the male with a quick stare.
"I understand. I do not obey." he began in response, voice oddly resembling that of a young adult's, one with an English accent, even, "I do not escape. I want to know where I am."
