Gimp is free! One of reasons I have it. What is cool is that it will use photoshop brushes and such. You should check it out. I am entirely self taught on it but there are tons of tutorials around for it and plenty of people here who use it and are happy to offer advice and such.

There's plenty of tutorials and brushes in Deviantart to up load and use, not to mention a few members that use this program. Lillian's play with it got me into trying out and discovered it to be fun but I won't lie, getting the wanted affect can be a pain sometimes.

Certainly, I may not make it the full size though, there isn't much to that image and too much background will take away from it. I think 200x450 or so would serve you better. But we'll see.

Hmm, I don't know. What are you saving it as? In gimp you need to export to either jpeg or PNG (my favorite) and that should upload. If you save it does so as an xcf file which may not upload for you.

Also, I'd love to see what you do if you don't mind sharing!
