Graphic Type: Signature, and Avatar (just cropped from the sig would be fine, unless you wanted to do something else)
Size: Avi size being 150x150 is fine. For the signature, anywhere between average size to its current (very large) size is fine.

It can be small text, as I think space will be an issue. As long as it's readable. Some nice cursive font would be great, too.

Theme: I really like the dark foreground character with lighter background color scheme that the original image has. I'm really not sure what to request because of my unfamiliarity with image editing software. I'd like to just give you creative control over it, just keeping in mind that the general theme is dark, dramatic, and romantic.
Border Type: My biggest complaint about the original image is that I don't like it being a big rectangle with no borders. Maybe if the border looked more like clouds...or had cloud shapes...But I really don't know. Again I'd like to just give you creative control, do what you think looks best here! (If you are at a loss, I think just putting a border around it would be fine. I'm not sure what you mean by pop-out, but that sounds cool too.)
Other: If possible, the character's eyes should be the color amber. This is not a very important edit however, because his eyes are dark and hard to see anyway. It might be best just to leave it alone. Again I'll leave this up to your judgment.
