I picked up quite a hefty amount of loot from all the Powder Gangers, I believe I will distribute it to the Citizens for cheap, in exchange for food and some ammo. I'm surprised to find so many places carrying MFC's and ECP's, I guess the Brotherhood locking themselves away hasn't really allowed for a lot of scavenging. I kind of pity the Brotherhood, they are a dying breed, and because of their strict adherence to their own laws, they will not manage to survive. I wonder how Veronica is doing, bah. It won't do me any good to think about her really. Besides, I'm pretty sure she only played for her own team

The deputy thanked me for my help, and I was able to get a fair amount of supplies from the local populace. It sounds like the Deputy will be taking credit for what happened in the hotel, and while it irritates me a bit, I'm not going to go around and prove him a fool. It would seem he does that enough on his own.

He asked me to find a new Sheriff for the town, as he does not really want the responsibility. My thoughts immediately turn to the NCR, though he suggested there was a man in the Correction Facility that could be sheriff. I decided to not Fill him in on the events that transpired their, as it would most likely only bother him.

I now will seek out Lieutenant Haynes, a man camped just outside of Primm, and I will ask him to take care of the town. I'm sure he will be delighted to expand NCR's influence. After this I will travel to the nearest town. Or at least that's what I plan.

Or, I'll be headed to the NCR Mojave Outpost to talk about getting more soldiers to protect Primm. I'm starting to think every person in Nevada is helpless. [sigh] A paladin's work is never done.

On my way out from Primm headed to Mojave, I got ambushed by three Powder Gangers, they managed to badly burn my leg, their explosives eating through my armor, and another clipped me in the shoulder with their ballistic weapons. Even though I managed to eliminate all of them, I've been heavily wounded. Without stimpacks or a Doctor's Bag, I'm cook, I'll need to limp my way to Mojave Outpost, the most likely place to have a doctor. The quickest way there would be too cut through this Dust Bowl.

Yes pipboy, I know I'm crippled thank you for the excellent advice of finding a Doctor. It's not like I didn't just spend TWO FUCKING HOURS LIMPING THROUGH THE DESERT YOU STUPID PIECE OF [Clanging noises, it is suspected The Outcast is punching the Pipboy.] stupidpieceof... Anyways, I've arrived in Mojave, and have requested the troops Haynes needed. Luckily for me, the people here understand the point of Primm, and how helpful it could be if it were protected. They sent a troop out west to back up the City.

There weren't any real Doctors in Mojave, but I managed to find a Doctors Bag, filled with not only Nannites, but some A grade surgical auto-doc equipment. I was able to patch myself up in a jiffy. I went to the bar / barracks in town to pick up a few drinks and a few Z's. I met a woman named Cass there. Apparently Legion raiders attacked her caravan and burned the whole thing to Ash including the drivers and cargo, also the roads are shut down due to danger from the Legion. NCR won't let any merchants past

I'm starting to think The Legion is much more organized, and possibly to cause for the Powder Gangers recent attacks. I don't really have any reason but it just seems true in my gut. Tomorrow, I will travel back to see Haynes, and make sure Primm is safe, and everything is back to normal that way. I'll also talk to head CO here about making the streets safer.

I'm not sure why, but I feel compelled to help the people here. Maybe I'm delaying my departure, or maybe I just want to prove not all Brotherhood Paladins are stupid jack-offs. Either way, once I settle things here I'll be on my way to Nipton.

A sniper here asked me to explore Nipton for her and report back what I find. She thinks it was a Legion raid on the town. I think she's right.

Apparently I was mistaken, the dangers were not from Legion, but from the Giant Ants I saw in the Dust Bowl. I can see them through my scope, and if I'm careful and quiet I'll be able to eliminate them all without being scene.

    God, I'm awesome.

The head honcho here, Ranger Jackson, gave me a Service Rifle, some food, and a few repair kits for my troubles. Appreciative for my help, I think I will visit Cass, and see if she feels better now that the roads are open.

She laughed in my face, then swung a whiskey bottle at me. She barked something about a Caravan Company next to New Vegas, it would seem that I was also mistaken on why these people were stuck where they were. I will make a mental note to actually listen when people are talking, instead of just fiddling with the safety on my gun.

It started raining, I am drenched head to toe, and I can see lightning in the distance. I can see a pit stop in the distance, though I'm wary of it, I think I will circle around in case it might be an ambush. I also am starting to think I should have gotten better power armor when I left. This Recon Class stuff while lightweight, does not give me the protection I need.

I just got through letting down the last of the crucified in Nipton, with no real knowledge as of the appropriate way to dispose of the bodies, I simply threw them in the fire. I met a man named Vulpes Inculta it would seem I had finally met Ceasar's Legion. He talked to me and told me I would, "Bear witness" too his crimes.

and I witnessed a fair bit... The town had been burnt to the ground, the Legionairres standing around laughing and throwing more of peoples possessions in the flames to keep the fires going. There were Men and Women crucified, bound to their crosses with rusty nails and barbed wire. They bleeded and wept for mercy. None were strong enough to survive being taken off the cross, even with Stimpacks. It almost seemed like they had lost the will to live.

Inside were more bodies, not even children were spared as I watch Legionairre dogs chew on the bones of the damned. I nearly vomitted, in all my years of being a Paladin, I had never seen something so terrible. Anything so depraved.

He laughed at first, when I told him his crimes were unforgiveable. Taunted me when I told him he should pay. Then he was silent. Along with his followers, and the mongrels he brought with him. My rifle made short work of them. They were foolish to turn their backs on me. I don't leave survivors.

I am now headed back to the Mojave Outpost to share this grave news. Then on to Novac, I am no longer hopeful that the place will be peaceful. Now I only pray that what I see is not as terrible as what has happened before my eyes.
