Emma Hawkings woke up to a sharp rapping noise that came from her door. Groaning and twisting around in bed Emma opened her mouth to launch a verbal assault laced with large amounts of profanity at the offender when she heard Brian speak. "The new recruits will be here soon. Get up." Sighing, Emma chose to respond with a civil "Yes sir" rather than her colorful speech she had been preparing in her mind. She waited for his footsteps to recede before finally cracking her eyes open blearily. From the state of herself and her surroundings, Emma could've been mistaken for a alcoholic tramp. 'Not too far off the dot either...' she mused, putting off waking up for a few more seconds.

Lazily pushing the worn covers off onto the floor Emma stretched for a few minutes before slinging her legs off the bed and onto the wood below, where she disturbed many empty bottles. Careful not to step on the remains of her drinking binge from the previous night, she reached for her set of clothes crumpled on a pair of chairs. Dragging her tank top on top of her torso, Emma did not feel the need to tie her hair up today as they were only greeting the newbies. Walking around the room while kicking the bottles out of sight under her bed and brushing her teeth, she wondered who would be the ones to sign aboard this time. 'I just hope it's not like last time. Completely useless, I wasn't surprised when they died.' She spat out the toothpaste in disgust, watching it sail out of the open porthole. Finally pulling on her pants, she tucked a pistol into her sash to be safe and left the room barefooted. The rest of her crew was already on board. Emma joined them in waiting for the newcomers.

She didn't have to wait long, as three people soon came aboard the air-ship. Emma gave them a look over once and nodded in approval. Kenny looked strong, a valuable asset to the team as they were running a bit short on manpower. Edward she didn't particularly care for. As long as he did his job they would get together just fine. As for Izzy, well Emma would just have to wait and see if the woman could live up to what came out of her mouth. "Nice to meet ya guys. I'm Emma, your first mate. Don't let me hear you cry for your mother later on, you knew what you signed up for... Follow Charles, he'll give you guys a tour of home sweet home."
She didn't bother to come downstairs with the rest of the crew, preferring to stay on deck to wait for the others to come up again.

As they were introduced to the rest of the team, both Izzy and Kenny listened intently to the other people. The one person with the ferret, Kaeli, unnerved Kenny with her threats of bombing them if they were SPEP, but Izzy was rather unfazed. They were then escorted throughout the ship. When they got to the kitchen and found that the meals were self-serve, Kenny smiled and Izzy groaned, almost in unison. Kenny always loved cooking; Izzy, on the other hand, would set fire to the place if she so much as attempted to make a sandwich. When she lived alone, she ate out a lot, which really dug into her money reserves. Anyway, next the group was shown their cabins: Izzy getting the third on the right, while Kenny got the meager one at the end, and they both went to their respective rooms.

Kenny's was minimalistic. It had a cot for a bed and a small crate that was probably supposed to be used as a table. Well, it also had a small porthole, but that was hardly considered furniture. Izzy had a better room: The bed looked comfier, had actual sheets on it, and there was a small dresser and a desk, plus a porthole. Both were rather fine with their lodgings: Kenny had grown used to small, uncomfortable sleeping arrangements being a street urchin, and Izzy was used to these sort of cabins in ships, as they felt more like a home to her than any motel room she slept in.

After about a minute of settling in (Namely, putting his suitcase with all of one change of clothes and his wrench on the crate), Kenny left the cabin and headed for the kitchen, primarily to see what foods were in store. Sure, he wasn't a 5-star chef or anything, but he was confident he could probably cook better than most others on this ship who probably subsisted entirely on hardtacks. When he got there, he was able to catch a glimpse of the man that Kenny remembered as calling himself "Edward Wright" leaving the kitchen for what he assumed was the Sky Deck where the next meeting or something was gonna take place. As Kenny walked around the food stores, he was mildly annoyed to see that it was primarily grain and dried, salted meats. There were the occasional spice or so, but not enough to really make anything too good. Oh, well, Kenny worked with worse.

Izzy took a bit longer to put her stuff away. She had a bit more to unpack, and she felt it necessary to neatly fold her changes of clothing into the dresser. This took her a few minutes longer than Kenny, but not too long. She also went to the kitchen, but not with a reason. She was mostly just wandering at random and haphazardly ended up in the main eating area, which was pretty much empty at the time. At that moment, however, Kenny walked out of the food stores and noticed her. Figuring he didn't have much better to do, he might as well introduce himself to at least part of the crew.

"Hello there, uh, Lizzy, was it?" He said, not clearly remembering her name since his memory wasn't exactly perfect. Izzy giggled at his screw-up and corrected him. "Izzy, and nice to meet you too, Ken." Izzy, on the other hand, had a really good memory. Regardless, the two shook hands and continued to chat for a bit as they started trekking to the Sky Deck. "So, what were the slums like?" Izzy asked. Kenny responded with a matter-of-factly "Crap." Izzy giggled again at this; Kenny thought she giggled a bit much, while Izzy thought Kenny was just being melodramatic. "Well, what were the rich neighborhoods like?" Kenny asked. "Crap," was Izzy's reply, with a grin. Kenny smirked at this.

The duo walked out onto the Sky Deck at this moment, and silently seperated; Kenny going to lean on a railing opposite the boarding plank while Izzy sat on a crate near it.

Up on the deck, the captains door flings open. Brian walks out carrying a journal in his right hand and a gun in his left. He walks out to the center of the boat and yells "Ok everyone! Welcome to the Monarch, you have been approved by one of us who were already on this ship. Now to get down to business. We will be taking off right after I finish. We have two destinations I would like to head, first Above the town of La Rochelle in France there is a large Trade ship leaving for germany. They apparently have a fair amount of gold on the ship. The other location is the town of Providence, where the Countess of Bedford is heading for a vacation. We could kidnap her and hold her for ransom, as long as her guards don't get her back." Brian stops for a second and then says "Alright where does everyone want to head, after we decide we leave."

"I'd rather go to France, England always smells of old feet. Plus I've never been a big fans of kidnapping. It just does not work most of the time. So much stuff can go wrong. Plus England has alot of Roaring Foundation ships. so it's a bit more dangrous than France"

Kaeli stretched as her and Bub started to wake up. "Eh, not really one for kidnapping. No real sport in not being able to blow em outta the sky. Besides," Kaeli grinned as she tapped the recently upgraded cannons. "Who says we can't fish the gold out of the deep?"

    England or France?

Edward slowly raised himself from his sitting position. “I say France.” He had enough gruel when he was serving with the SPEP. “God knows this ship could use with a better selection of food stores, and I don’t feel like waiting around for a bloody ransom.”

Edward turned to one of the other crew members, the one who tapped the cannon. “Miss Boom, is it?” I’d rather not take a swim if that’s all right with you,” he said with a slight grin. Never the less he was being serious. Unless the Captain ordered it, he’d rather not see all that gold fall into the sea. Chances are, only a fraction would be recoverable if something like that were to happen.
