All day it's been telling me it's been detecting a virus. Like, near-constantly. And by the looks of it, it keeps reminding me of the exact same virus from the exact same source- some file I downloaded, I think. I've been getting this for a few days, getting "virus blocked" alerts more and more often. I figure it'll just go away if I delete the file where the virus is coming from, or maybe the virus itself.
Any idea how I do that? Avast is supposedly blocking the virus but it's not doing anything to get rid of it. And the constant reminders get real annoying.
Help?

Lemme ask my boyfriend. He's more experienced with Avast and computers than I am.

That would work if I knew what file was causing it. >> Avast isn't helping much. When I click "more details" it just brings me to their website where they explain how their virus-catching process works.
I don't know what file exactly, I just figured it was a file rather than a web page or something. I also don't remember the date it started detecting threats, either. The only things I remember downloading, though, are some Youtube videos and an order form for a custom-made morphsuit. Could be the order form, now that I think about it, but I still have to fill that out and send it back before I can delete it.
