The Capitol
The Capitol brutally rules the 12 Districts of Panem. The citizens of the Capitol are much more well-off than those in the Districts.

Districts


District 1:
District 1's specialty is jewelry. They have a close relationship with the Capitol.

District 2:
District 2 manufactures weapons. They also train the Peacekeepers for the Capitol. They are also favored by the Capitol.

District 3:
District 3 produces electronics.

District 4:
District 4 specializes in fishing.

District 5:
District 5 specializes in power/electricity.

District 6:
District 5's specialty is transportation.

District 7:
District 7 provides lumber and paper.

District 8:
District 8 produces clothing.

District 9:
District 9 produces grain.

District 10:
District 10 provides livestock.

District 11:
District 11 specializes in agriculture.

District 12:
District 12 is the mining district.


The Hunger Games:
The Hunger Games, which are "celebrated" every year, are the Capiol's reminder to the Districts that the Capitol is in power.

The Reaping:
Every Hunger Games, a boy and a girl from each district. are reaped (their names are drawn out of a ball). Then, if someone volunteers, the volunteer (must be a boy for a boy and a girl for a girl) replaces the original would-be tribute.
The tributes must be between the ages of 12 and 18.

Mentors:
The Mentors are people from the districts that have won the games in the past. Each tribute has a mentor from their district. The mentor gives them advice on how to win the games. (Usually. Haymitch sometimes ignores tributes. )

Sponsors:
Sponsors send tributes things in the arena. (Food, medicine, water, etc.)

GameMakers:
The Gamemakers have control of everything that goes on in the arena, and they can manipulate everything.

Tokens:
Items that represent the districts. Each tribute is allowed to have one, as long as it does not give them an unfair advantage in the arena. These can be things like bracelets, necklaces, or pins.

The arena:
A different location for each Hunger Games to be held.

Inside the Arena:
When the game starts, each tribute is dressed in a specific attire that will give clues about what the arena will be like. Tributes then step into a tube & are brought to a platform, where they wait for the countdown to finish. If someone steps off early, the bombs underneath will blow them up. The tributes are surrounded by their opponents in a circle. In front of them is the Cornucopia,which is filled with supplies like backpacks, which may contain other needed items such as gallons of water, first aid kits, weapons, food, & other things that will be useful in the arena. As soon as the countdown reaches 0, the game begins. Cannons fire every time someone dies.



Rules:
1) Please only join if you can be on at LEAST once a day.
2) No original characters from the books, please. Let's be creative!
3) You may have up to 4 characters, any number of tributes and/or mentors up to 4.
4) If you have read the rules, post "Foxface is smart" with your CS. You must do this to be accepted to this RP.
5) It would be great if everyone could ask someone, to be absolutely sure, before killing their character. That way we don't have any OOC fights.

Name: Lucy Rains
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Bio: Lucy is the daughter of two average citizens in district 10. Her mother died when she was 5, and Lucy's father has been raising her and her 3 siblings. Lucy is the second oldest. Her oldest brother is 19. No one in her district spoke up when she was picked. Lucy is used to going without food, and is fairly skinny. Lucy's mostly at home in the fields or in the woods, due to being from an agricultural district.
Personality: somewhat shy, a bit too trusting for her own good, very sweet. She is not incredibly outgoing, but once you make friends with her, she is very hard to get rid of.
District: 10
Weapons Of Choice: Dagger or bow and arrow

Other: of the tributes, Lucy is one of the most likely to ally with an older loner. She is young and quick, but not very strong. She is probably likely to survive at least the first day, but she doesn't think she will win.

Gender: Male
Bio: Unlike most other tributes, he has lived a pretty good life considering the capitol likes their district. He is pretty well-fed and has trained for the games his whole life. He is strong and agile, and definitely an opponent to fear. He will probably get a good score from the GameMakers.
Personality: a bit of a thug, determined, can be rude, rather uncaring.
District: 2
Weapons Of Choice: Spear or Sword
Token: A piece of wood carved into a sword.

Mentor:
Appearance: Layla has jet-black hair and green eyes. Her hair is fairly wavy.

Age: 24
How old were you when you won?: 16
Brief History: She was not very vicious, but since she was the supporter of her family, she was determined to win. She won her games by creating an electric fence using a bit of electric wire and a wooden fence she created.
District: 5
Other: She can be tough on her tributes because she wants them to win.

Name: Jesenia Cruz
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Bio: Jesenia grew up with a single mother who supported two other kids. When her father found out about Jesenia's mother being pregnant with her he left, not happy with the idea of supporting a larger family. It was believed that he tried to escape into the Capitol but was killed. Her two elder brothers also helped with the necessities since they were already seven and ten, which meant they were out in the fields. Jesenia followed suit soon after when she turned four and began working in the fields.
District: 11
Personality: Quiet, careful,rebellious, decisive. Can be reckless when it comes to others. Caring. She will help anyone who she thinks has an unfair disadvantage.
Weapon of choice: Anything long distance really. Throwing knives or a bow more preferably.

Other: She has great knowledge in plants and tree climbing. Working in the fields has made her slightly stronger as she's pretty quick too. She isn't much of a team player either so she prefers being alone or in a pair. Nothing too big.

Accepted. I read a theory lately that said Foxface committed suicide. She passed the edible plants test. Interesting theory....

Just now realizing that this all makes sense now XD I THINK that they were aiming to make it look like that but everyone was too caught up with Katniss and Peeta :P

My absolute favorites were Katniss and Rue so I sure as hell wasn't paying attention to Foxface XD
