I was looking at the map, and saw a place called. " The Devouring Woods" Mind giving me some lore on this place?

The Devouring Wood is exactly how it sounds. If anything the forest considers a threat steps within it's reach it'll "eat" them. This generally consists of it either dragging the creature under the ground or dragging them into the forest via vines/roots/branches. Rumor has it that a powerful wizard lives at the heart of the forest but no one knows for sure. Other rumors include that the ruined town near there used to have to send a sacrifice into the forest every spring to keep it from overtaking the town, but one year the sacrifice ran away and the forest devoured the city.

Also yet another rumor has it that in times of great peril the forest can uproot itself and walk although no one alive has seen this happen and the general consensus is that these are just faery tales.

Wow, I like the sound of this place, I hope the main character visits it.

The wizard that lives there will most likely be either played by someone I know will be a regular and trustworthy player or I will control him. Unfortunately, boost, you seem new so unless youre an altof someone I think could do the wizard justice you'll need to make an original character to play. Nothing against you, I just have to know that a character I like will go to a steady and good player.

So this is basically like the other interactive forum games but with text rather than images. I was considering doing something like this, but then I remembered it would take effort and fuck that.

I'll play, but I'm too tired to read stuff or make a character currently.
