For years, life had been normal for citizens of the United States, until the government evacuated the complete northern half of Arkansas without giving a public, legit reason. Nobody knew why they was being forced from their homes and for most, out of the state entirely. But, not everyone made it out as ordered. A small group of young adults had been kidnapped by the very government that just shattered their lives. In secret, hidden well away, multiple nations had been arguing over whose young adults and children were the smartest. Out of greed and determination to prove their nation had raised the best, the United States offered to host an event to put an end to the rivalry between nations. And Arkansas had been chosen as the testing grounds for this event. Many years after a series of novels known as The Hunger Games became a blockbuster hit, it was determined that the youth would fight for their lives in a survival of the fittest scenario .

This was 10 years ago and the general public was none the wiser about what was truely happening in the Natural State and around the globe. Each year the event moved to a different participating nation to show equality and fairness. But this year, 2025, marked the return to Arkansas where it all originated.

That is the basic back story to this role play. Now, for the juicy details.

My Basic Rules and such.


I have been rolling this around in my head for a while now, combing different aspects of stories and movies.

This is Hunger Games Styled, where the characters must fight to the death, where one will emerge as a victor.

Characters must be a young adult or teen. Please nothing younger than 16 or older than 25-ish.

No, your character does not have to be American. It can be from whatever country you wish them to be from. This is the reason I did not give specific nations that threw in their contestants to bet on.

Yes, there can be multiple characters from the same country. If there is, I will modify the amount of NPCs we have to keep the numbers even. This is very similar to the quarter quells in Hunger Games. Different rules will apply to special games. In this case, the 10th anniversary.

This is casual based, so at least one paragraph please. Though, as with everything quality over quantity.

I'm not so strict on spelling mistakes, as long as u dont tpy lik dis. I cannot and will not accept that.

Character development is a must, as well is the ability to help push the story forward. I may be the GM, but, I need your help as well.

I have a roughly set plot which I try to follow, which means I will post random NPC actions that you must acknowledge in your next post after. When I post one of these, most likely it will be a game changer to keep everyone on their toes.
