He followed her, after grabbing his stuff. Taking his hearing aids out, he hurled them into his locker, signing. "I don't like them at all. I'm not wearing them anymore."
Hearing this, she fowned very lightl. He hadn't always been deaf of mute then. He had just become that way over the summer. That was a very rare case. She da never met someone who had just become that way. All the others she had met had just been born that way. She was about to sign something else when she heard the mummers getting louder and louder. Finally getting too annoyed, she grabbed a penciel bag and turned, throwing it as hard as she could. It hit the white board and pens and penciels fell out. Being mute made it so she couldn't tell them straight out to shut up, which frusterated her often to the pont of throwing things, like she had just done. After throwing it though, she walked to the front of the room and began writing on the dry erase board, 'The next person to say something with have to deal with ME.' Once it was wrote she walked back over to him and then motioned for him to follow her out of the room.

She looked over and signed to him, "You know, if you don't wear them, you won't be able to hear anything." She paused to put some of her books into her locker as well, "You just have to learn how to use them. You havn't had them long enough tto really get used to them. Just think of what a blessing it is to be able to hear with them. Mostdeaf people won't ever be able to hear at all." She signed, moving to walk down the hall toward the lunch room.
"I know, but everything sounds all robotic and blurred together, if someone speaks, I don't know who it is, unless they look at me. Besides which, utter quiet is amazing. It's not like it matters. You are the only person here I like, and you sign to me."

She sighed. She just wasn't used to this at all. She was a loner. She had no friends. She wasn't even sure if she was ready for a friend to come into her life. she was just so used to being alone. Looking back at him, she frowned, "Not everyone here is bad. You'll find soeone else to hang out with soon. Trust me."
"And if I want to be friends with you? You seem lonely, it's sad to see someone all alone..." His eyes, though hazy with lack of sleep, were kind and soft, scerene and gentle.
Turning away for a second, he cried out as he was slammed against the wall, pain shooting up his legs and into the small of his back. A boy, looking simillar to him, but a little older was pinning him against it, yelling at the scared boy.
