Instead of trying to make this sound witty, I'm just gonna say hi. I've been an avid tabletop roleplayer for awhile now but life is getting in the way of having as many sessions as I'm used to so I thought I'd try branching out. I've heard forum gaming could be pretty fun but I don't really understand it just yet. I'm reading the guides but I'm more of a 'learn by doing' kind of person. So, to start, I'll probably be looking at 1X1 for something casual to advanced. I'm not sure if I have any genre preferences because I'm pretty open but I can say most of my experiences have been based on mythology. Werewolves, vamps, fey folk, mages and so on. I've dabbled in Lord of the Rings and Avatar central stuff.

However, I don't expect that to stay the same. I just want to have some fun so thank you for welcoming me to your community and I hope we'll make wonderful stories together!

Welcome to the Guild Syllanna! I came here for the exact same reasons as you and it quickly became my preferred way to RP. I always recommend new people, whether new to RP or just new to here, check out the guide here, it fills you in on how things are done around these parts.
