Kaika kept this moment to think out the next set of directions, but she was beginning to think more about that voice from earlier that she was slightly spacing out.

"Yes, it's hard not to hear about Kira when the public seems to have been spreading the word about Kira. I don't understand what's so great about Kira if he kills people who's done one bad thing left and right," Light sighed once Kira was mentioned, but mentally, he was laughing to himself at the thought of him contradicting on what he's created to aim for a new justice.

Mello was busy speeding until he remembered that he needed directions. He stepped quickly on the brakes before asking Kaika again. "Kaika! Directions!" He said.

"Oh.." M mumbled, staring down at her shoes. "Um..I guess that's cool..I just think he's been doing good. Criminals deserve to be punished.." She said in a small voice.

With that, Kaika immediately snapped out of her thoughts. "Oh! Yeah...um, just go up one more block then take a left, then the first right from there," Kaika said once she used her sensory abilities again.

"Well, I guess that's just the opinion of people that seem to be different every time," Light said, saying that everyone had different opinions on Kira. He kept on walking, and there were actually walking into one of the shopping districts in the city.

Mello sighed and sped up again, keeping a quick pace with the car again. "Thanks." He said, following her directions quickly.

"Yeah.." M mumbled, and smiled at the district. It looked nice, though it was a bit crowded. She moved closer to Light so she wouldn't get lost in the crowd.

A bit later, Kaika sensed that they were at the closest to the gem, and quickly said,"I think this is the place, stop!" She definitely felt like the GPS here for sure after that, but she still had the same thoughts in her head about that voice from earlier. It never made sense to her as to why she was thinking about it so much in the first place. Not sure if her ears were playing tricks on her now, but she heard this same voice she was thinking about again. It was fainter this time, maybe because she was in the car, but she looked out of the car window to see someone familiar. N...N-No way....I thought he would be still in my dimension...how did he end up here?...Sota's not supposed to be here from what I remember before all of this... Kaika thought as she saw this boy, Sota, wandering outside and nearby the car without the knowledge that Kaika was just there, and in fact, Sota was actually Kaika's boyfriend to be exact.

"Well, this is one of the shopping districts here, and I was thinking we could go for one of the tea shops that's just up ahead. I've got a lot of time before I would have to return to my home," Light said as he was walking with her. He knew he would keep this innocence act up, since he didn't want to give away anything that would relate him to Kira, but something disrupted in his train of thought as he could hear a strange noise that didn't seem far from them. From the distance, smoke could be seen drifting away from it's "source": the site of the strange noise.

Mello quickly braked and the car skidded. He rolled his eyes. "Shit Kaika!" He said, getting out of the car and stretching. "Let's go slow pokes." He commented. He wondered what was off with Kaika, and it had been scaring him honestly. Had she seen something or was she just going through a phase of some sort.

"Oh, I'd love that!" M said, looking happy about the suggestion. When she heard the explosion, she clung to Light, and blushed as she realized what she was doing. "Oh.. sorry. I um..I got scared." She said, releasing her grip on him.

Kaika was quiet as she got out of the car, but she wasn't really following Mello as she walked up to Sota actually. "*sigh*...Sota, what are you doing here? I thought you were going to stay and keep watch over Takahisa?" Kaika asked him, already knowing that Sota would recognize her. "I was, Kaika. I just found myself here this morning, like I was sent here randomly just now. It's a bit strange, but it somewhat makes sense after you getting that spiritual pact a few days before all of this," Sota told her, surprised that she was here at least. So he's involved in this...why must things seem so complicated between relationships and this search for gems? Kaika thought about how things seemed to get even more complicated at this rate.

Sonic didn't say anything, but noticed that Kaika was talking to Sota. It looked like the two knew each other, it was strange that Kaika didn't seem to tell the group about her going over and talking to Sota at all.

"It's alright, but I have a feeling we shouldn't go to that direction. Who knows if the one responsible for that is still there?" Light said, thinking they shouldn't go towards the site of the explosion at all.

Mello had to keep his jaw from dropping as Kaika ignored him and just went over to Sota. He crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. "We just gotta wait for her I guess.." He mumbled, a bit annoyed at her actions.

M looked at the explosion sight, rather curious. "You're right..but aren't you the least bit curious about who caused it?.." She asked, looking up innocently at Light as she gently held onto him again looking like she was comfortable.

"I guess that you have to come along. I mean, just to be safe," Kaika pointed this out to Sota, somewhat blushing. Just to be safe? Are you fricken' stupid Kaika! Kaika thought to herself by how she was almost stuttering by how she was saying these things. "Sure, I don't mind. It wouldn't cause much trouble, I think," Sota sighed, absolutely knowing how Kaika acts in situations like this. "Alright! Let's go!" Kaika shouted out as she grabbed Sota by the wrist and dragged him into the building that she had sensed the gem at. This caught Sota off guard, and didn't have the time to tell her something else.

"Er...I have a feeling that the guy she dragged into the building is her boyfriend," Sonic sweatdropped and said that once Kaika and Sota were inside the building.

"Not sure, but I'm sure it's some guy that wants attention," Light shrugged, wanting to not be involved in the situation.

Mello turned and shot a deadly glare at Sonic as he decided to speak up, and turned back around looking at the building. He didn't exactly trust that guy for some reason, but maybe it was because he was jealous. "We going in?" He asked.
