"R-Really!" Kaika quickly went over to see if Mello had found it. The gem was actually there, and it was glowing brightly. Something seemed off in the room though,, and it felt like there was some breeze in the room. It won't be that noticeable at first, since it happened when no one was particularly looking, but it seemed like the gem that was on the shelf was gone. "Hey? Where did it go? I just saw it there a minute ago!" Kaika blinked as she saw that the gem was suddenly gone.

"Here you go!" the cashier came back with both drinks. "Thank you," Light nodded as he took both of their drinks, and led M to a table that was near the back.

Where's Ryuk? He just disappeared all of a sudden... Light thought, seeing that there was no sign of the rowdy shinigami anywhere.

In an alleyway, Ryuk was listening to a shadowy figure with a bored expression. "So why do you want me to go and give Light the damn thing if he could just receive it himself?" Ryuk scratched his head, confused. "Because he is busy with another. Don't worry, I will pay you back in regards of your doing of the favor, I just need these given to Light Yagami once that chance comes," the figure said, holding out the 3 golden gems that Kaika's group had just gathered up. If someone were to look closely, this figure offering the 3 golden gems to Ryuk for Light was a familiar person, who was actually Joshua.
(TROLOLOLOL~, Joshua is such a troll here. XD)

Mello frowned as he noticed the gems were gone and he nodded. "Did anyone take them?" He said, looking around the room, and specifically at Sota. He then turned back and looked around the shelf some more before giving up. The gem was gone, but the way it had left was so strange. "It was here..Something must have took it, but how didn't we notice?" He asked, putting his hands into his pockets.

M sat down and smiled gently at Light, sitting up and making sure to make herself presentable. "So what do you like to do in your leisure time, do you play any sports?" She asked, taking a sip of her tea before looking at Light again.

(*slams Joshua's face into a desk* THAT. LITTLE. BRAT.))

"I don't know," Kaika checked her bag to see that her gems were gone too,"Crap! Even our other two gems are gone!"

"Well, I've tried out soccer and tennis already," Light said, taking a sip out of his tea.

Mello's eyes widened. "What do you mean they're gone!? How the hell did we lose them!?" He said, looking through the bag a bit for himself. He was shocked that this had even happened. "This wasn't happening until HE decided to come along!" Mello snapped, pointing at Sota. L was wondering how this would exactly go.

"Oh that's nice! I'm sure you'll get on the teams." M said, looking interested.

"What do you mean? I have nothing to do with this!" Sota only pointed out to Mello, some malice in his voice. Geez...what is going on now? Kaika mentally sighed to herself.

"yeah, I had some close matches before in tennis," Light said, remembering what really happened there.
(Again, Joshua is such a troll. Everyone is turning on each other already..and Joshua's just minding his own business elsewhere. XD)

"Oh really? Cause as soon as you showed up we all got fucked over for our hard work!!" Mello snapped, his hand on his gun in his pocket by now.

"Well, thank you for your point. I'm sure enough that it would help out right now before then," Sota said sarcastically. It seemed like Sota and Mello were both getting on their nerves consistently. I had a feeling that this kind of conflict would happen...but because of the golden gems? Something's way off here... Kaika thought.

"It's healthy to have at least a sport to play," Light said, and was going to say more but paused. He heard more commotion going on outside, and it sounded more attention-getting than the last set of commotion noise a few minutes ago.

"You know it fucking makes sense!!" Mello snapped, pulling his gun out. "You're just too high and mighty to fucking see all your flaws!" He said, and L sighed.

M nodded and blinked as she heard noise outside. "Um...Would you want to to take a look outside?.." She asked, she said.

"So I'm not welcome then," Sota said, seeming to keep his cool unlike Mello. "Guys, this isn't a time to start fighting right now. I'm trying to relocate the gems, and it's hard to focus when there's a ton of distractions are going on," Kaika sighed as she was using her sensory abilities again.

"Well, it's getting repetitive, so I guess. We do have to be careful though," Light sighed as he got up from his seat, having a bad feeling about this. The noises continued, and now sounded like some kind of fighting.

"No, you're not." Mello said in a cold tone, and kept silent for a bit as he noticed Kaika was trying to focus.

M nodded and stood up, holding onto Light as they made their way for the door. When they finally got outside she looked for the source of the noise.
