Eris looked down to his hand ontop of hers for a moment beforr his question registered. She nodded. "I've tried everything I knee to, Andie helped for a while too, but the spirits told her that sometimes loss like that can have repurcussions like this. It makes it harder on the witch, but over time, they develop their own sense of power. It's likely I'll never be able to use that magic again, but that's okay by me for now."she admitted. "And yes, it's why I hate them, but I don't blame them. I had a lot of time to understand the aituation, and I am a lot better than I used to be with it. Klais just sets my tetth on edge."
She brought her other hand over his and offered a smile. "Thank you for listening. Generally people don't actually want to know. They ask to be... nosy? I guess."she said to him before giving his hand a squeeze and taking her plate to the sink before she einsed it off. "Anything else you want to know? Or do you mind me asking a few things?"she asked.

Klaus lookes to Andie when her arm brushed against his and he offered her a look. She was sitting up on the counter, drinking whiskey. She looked quite beautiful in the lighting, but he chuckled at her question. "I can. I juat don't do it often. More into art to be honest."he answered her before he poured himself another glass of scotch. He could tell she was an independent sort, which was refreshing to be around.
He then moved and placed his glass on the opposite counter before he opened the cabinet above the sink and pulled down an older book. "This is where all of my personal artwork is. I have some hanging in museums around the world."he told her and placed it on the counter beside her. "Feel free to look through it."

Alaric nodded as he gave her a small smile. "Well, good. I like the person you are now." He said. "Everyone has a little evil in them." Alaric rolled his eyes, leaning forward. "Oh. Klaus.. Klaus.. Klaus. I don't know anyone who doesn't feel that way about him. He's a very unlikable person." Alaric pressed his lips together. "I do think he has tried to kill almost everyone in this town, or pretty close." He shook his head, glancing over at Eris. Alaric laughed as he stood up, leaning against the door way, looking at Eris. "I can be nosy at times, not going to lie." He held both hands up, palms out, in defense. Alaric crossed his arms over his chest, acting like he was in deep thought.
"Nope. Can't think of anything else for now." He said and nodded. "Shoot. I'll be honest about anything and everything." Alaric said, holding his hands out. "All cards on the table." He laughed and crossed them again before looking at her. He wanted to kiss her so bad, finish what was almost started yesterday. He just ignored the urge and continued staring at her, waiting for whatever she had to ask him.

Andie shot him another surprised look. "You just keep amazing me, Klaus." She said, shaking her head. She watched with widened eyes as he took out an older looking book. She nodded, carefully picking the book up. Andie opened it, flipping through the pages. "Not going to lie.. these are.. amazing." Andie said, letting out a long breath. She then spotted a sketched out picture. It was of a blond by a horse. She lifted it up, looking at him. "Who's this?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. The girl in the picture looked familiar, like Andie knew her from somewhere, but that wasn't possible. The girl in the sketch had to be fictional, or was she? Maybe it was just a picture of someone he knew. Of who, though?
Eris looked at him and laughed a bit. "All cards on the table? I don't know Mr. Saltzman, perhaps you shouldn't have told me that. Never know when I 'll ask something embarrassing."she teased. She walked over and leaned against the other side of the door frame, her back against it and looking at him. "Why do you keep getting so tense around me?"she asked him, noticing how his muscles tensed slightly. "I won't bite... hard."she make a lazy joke, but she was being serious. She knee why most people did. Most were afraid of how she came off, and the last thing she wanted to do was scare him off. He had been so nice to her and she liked him a lot.
"I just... I noticed it earlier too. Am I doing something?"she asked.

Klaus looked at her when she spoke and he shrugged. "We all have things people don't expect from us."he said, and he walked over and looked at the sketch he had made and his eyea softened a bit. He was still a bit sore from her, but he was still working on gwtting over her. "Caroline Forbes."he answered, "One of Elena's friends."
He sighed and finished his drink before he poured himself another glass and drank a bit more. He would rather not talk about it, but if she asked he would be honest.
Alaric held his hands up. "No, no. I have nothing to hide." He joked and smiled,. "Embarrassing in my middle name, so don't hesitate." He said. Alaric watched as she stood opposite of him. "Honestly? Ever since Jenna, I never allowed myself to get close to another woman like I was with her. Then I met you, and, I don't know. I guess in some ways you remind me of her, and it scares me." He said and sighed. "I've lost Isabella, then Jenna, had another ex try to kill me, and there's you. So far, you've checked out. You seem to be sane, your human, well almost. You don't need blood to survive." He started walking closer to her. "You're beautiful. You take my breath away and leave me speechless every time I see you." He commented and was soon closing the open space between them.
"Yesterday, I wanted to finish what was started, never got the chance. Another reason why I may seem tense." He leaned down, stopping just inches from her lips. He then smiled, brushing his lips against hers briefly before straightening up. "And now, I can relax a little after I got all that of my chest." Alaric said after letting out a long and deep breath.

Andie could tell the hurt and pain in his face and she frowned. "You loved her, didn't you?" She asked, giving the picture one more last glance before shutting the book, setting it down beside her. "I been there a few times. The heartache never gets easier, though." She said softly. "Let me guess. There was another guy involved? That always seemed to be my issue. Another female." She said and jumped off the counter, landing on the ground with easy. She reached up to take the whiskey back down, her top lifting slightly to reveal a tattoo on her lower back. She popped off the top and poured some more in a glass, leaving the bottle out. She took a sip before looking at Klaus. "You really are different then I thought you would be." She said, giving him a soft and gentle stare.
Eris looked to Alaric when he spoke. It wasn't how she came off that scared him. It was how she reminded him of someone else. That she could live with. He moved closer to her and she felt herself straighten up. They were close once more, but this time there was no one to walk in, and no one to scare them apart. They were so close, and finally he brushed his lips against hers and when he moved away she brought her hand gently to her mouth. No one had ever done something so gentle, and the gesture was welcomed.
She looked over at him, a small smile illuminating her face when she brought her hand away from her mouth. "You are something else, Alaric Saltzman, but I like it."she said, wrapping her arms around him and placing a kiss on his cheek.

Klaus looked over to Andie and gave a soft nod. "In some respects, yes, it was another guy, but in other respects it was because I don't let many people in. She was honest with me, but honesty without all of the facts is just another method of insult." Ģe said and he watched as she reached up. She had something on her back, but rather than commsnt, he just raised a glass at her next comment. "I'm full of surprises, love."he told her before the timer went off.
"Might want to check that." He said. He tucked away his sketchbook and found himself getting down the plates and some silverware.
Alaric watched as she put her fingers up to her lips. He smiled at her. "Is that a good thing?" He asked with a sly smile. When she put her arms around him, he wrapped his arms back around her and gave her a small squeeze. "I've got to say, you,re pretty amazing." He said, closing his eyes. After a few minutes, Alaric pulled back, finishing his last glass of wine and rinsed the glass out, putting it in the drainer. He let out a long breath, looking back at her. "Would you like to watch a movie?" He asked, taking out a huge box of movies.
"I've got horrors, romances, comedies, you name it." He said with a chuckle.

Andie nodded. "I know how that can be. I've been down that road." She said with a frown. When the timer went off, she hopped off the counter and turned the oven off, taking the food out. After a few minutes she scooped them out some food. After, pouring them some wine, she looked at him with a smile. "Bon appetite." She said, making that gesture with her hands like French chefs do.
Eris looked over Alaric and thought a moment. "Let's watch a comedy. To be completely honest romance makes me sick because then people envy what they can't have. Like Twilight. I don't know how many times I have heard a girl say they want a love like that. It's not real. It's too perfect to be real. Or I'm just cynical. Either way."she said before looking through the movies, her finger pressed to her lips as she thought.
"Or I could go for another horror."she said to him, turning slightly. She couldn't help the smile on her face, and she couldn't help when she threw him one of the random comedies when she saw it. It was supposed to be a zombie movie, but she had seen it and Zombieland was more funny than anything.

Klaus looked over to Andie when she spoke and he mulled it over. She knew what he had been through? Then again he wasn't being entirely honest to begin with. He also knew that he was being more honest with her than he had been with anyone else. Even Rebekah. He sighed and sat down, a smirk tugging at his lips when she made the gesture. "Cute."had escaped his mouth before he could take ot back. Of course he hadn't meant to say that aloud.
It was done though amd he looked at it. "Smells great."he told her before taking a bite. "The smell doesn't do it justice though."
Alaric nodded. "Comedy sounds just perfect to me." He said and nodded. "My favorite." He said, picking Zombieland up. He nodded at her comment. "I agree, love like that doesn't truly exist. You can't have a good relationship without bumps in the road." He comment, taking the DVD out and putting it down in the player, switching the TV channel. He flipped through all the beginning ads and left in on the main screen for a few minutes. "I'll make us some popcorn, and there are cokes and such in the fridge. I'll get us a coke, is that okay?" He asked, going into the kitchen. He took a popcorn bag out of the box and put it in the microwave, setting the timer. As it popped, he took out two coke cans and then grabbed the bag of popcorn, dumping it into a crystal bowl. He then went back into the living room, putting the popcorn and drinks on the table before pressing play, dimming the lights off.
He settled on the couch, putting his arm around her and pulling her close to him as they movie started. The popcorn was between them and he took a handful, popping them into his mouth.

Andie turned to look at him, a gentle smile on his face. "Careful, Niklaus. You're actually sounding... human." She said, emphasizing the word human. She nodded. "Thank you, my mother's secret recipe." She commented, taking a bite. It was pretty good, not her best, but still real good. After she was done with her plate, Andie placed the plate in the sink and rinsed it off. She finished her glass of wine and put it there along with it. "Well, the night is still young. Did you have any other plans?" She asked, giving him a small smile. "I'm actually enjoying my time with you." She said, which surprised her a lot. She thought tonight would be horrible, she wasn't expecting to actually have fun, enjoying herself, and even starting to like Klaus, but Andie tried hard to push that out of her head. She couldn't be liking and falling for the enemy, which was exactly what Klaus is. The enemy. The one they had to protect Elena from, not get close to.
