does anyone play Final Fantasy games on here?
Hello.
Uhm.
Hello!! *adjusts tone of voice*
Hmf.
Can't get it quite right, well anyway, I guess it doesn't matter.
Now, down the real fine grit.
Does anyone play any of the old Final Fantasy games?
There is a greater reason that I ask this, as, I have a journal, gameplay, and fantasy exercise that we could try, which is called "Activa". You can Activa any game you want, by yourself or with people online. It's not RP. If you want to know more, PM me, if not, then forget it.
Now. I am still playing FF12. Perhaps that's because, for the passed couple of months, I've racked up twenty hours of game time in my pursuit of "Leveling Reks". I've got him to level 23, by tonight, he'll be a level 24. The Imperial... IMPEERIEAL SCUM!! soldiers are still doing a little bit of damage, roughly ten to fifteen points. Reks can drop them in two hits, unless they block or parry.
Now, here's something you could try. I know I tried it once before, and it did something but I don't remember what. At the very start of the game, when you are still with Basch and the rest of the party, try to kill the dude that is following Reks. It is possible! But it takes about an hour of striking him until Reks does multiple hits on him. I'm not entirely sure, but I do think there's a hidden ending right at the start of the game. I forget how it goes though, I know I did it once before, but that was like, five years ago. Hard to sift through the abundance of cellular catastrophe to find out what happened, maybe I'll try it again.
Is there any point to Leveling Reks? Perhaps not. Even so, the possibility of Saving Reks is in the game. There is that allusion in the game that Reks was used as a political witness and lives in the Draklor Laboratory. Well, it's going to be a few months of sporadic play yet, as, I want to get Reks to level 99. If I can't get him to level 99, then I want to get him as strong as possible, but in reality, I'm gunning for level 99.
Heard once, that a dude got the max amount of chain kills with Reks, and got him to level 99. It took him roughly three days of continuous play. I can see it though. The most chain kills I got with Reks was about five hundred and thirty six. I think that dude had something like, 99,999 chain kills. At LEAST, that's what I can remember, don't know if it's for real or not. I seen the picture, but I can't dang fidgity remember what it was for realz.
So anyway, if anyone is still into playing some of these old FFs, especially 12, then let me know if you want to do an activa. Send me a PM, I'll explain what activa is, and no I'm not talking about the famous yogurt. It's not 'activia' it's activa. I've tried finding cooperative members for it before, and I always get shot down. Not everyone is into this, in fact, very few, very few indeed.

Bring on the zombies!
I think FF7 was one of the first games I ever owned. But I could never gat past these enemy dudes who used this move called bad breath - which caused all status affects.
I played FF10 and thought it was super sick! Really loved it. (Turn based ftw) and then FF10-2 which was okay - but they got rid of the turn based system

Do you still have Final Fantasy 7?
I'm working on ANOTHER "Level 1 Dungeon" thing on FF7. I'm at level 19 in the Reactor 1, trying to get up enough Gil and Ethers so I can buy all 99 Assault Guns and Iron Bangles. I've already done this, but somehow I erased my file.
Yeah, those Marlboros are tough. I haven't been to that part of the game in years, so I can't offer any tips on how to beat them. I think that having Added Effect and a mastered Time materia might help, if not that, then the Destruct materia. I'm not really sure though. Did you ever try to Mini them? I dunno. No idea! *throws up hands, stomps away*
Well, last night I got Reks to level 24. Now he is doing a maximum of 105 per hit, it's still not enough to bring down the Imperials in one hit. He's got 104 MP, so I can lay them to sheer waste with Thunder attacks, he's been doing that since level 19, 20. I dunno man, all this level building, and it might be for nothing. At least I'll get it done, then I can start my new game file with Vaan on a clean conscience. FF12 is the perfect game to Activa with, it's not that linear, every game has a linear progression, on FF12, at the start of the game, if you do it right, you can get to level fifty, and get all your augments on the license board. I love this stuff.
