Ok so here is my idea as the name implies I want to base this on an offshoot version of the original timeline but still incorporating the noble houses and of course Arakkis! Now here is and here is the current situation of the universe as it pertains to the 2 noble houses and the imperial house Corrino. (hint hint I do plan on this being mature and would like to have my partner be willing to do mature content scenes) +1 OC house I made :3
House Atreides: Currently ruled by Duke Augustus and he is a passive and kind man but with his lack of will and strength this house has lost a lot of clout and military prestige, they have lost a lot of their previous holdings through conflict and by the will of the emperor to the Harkonnen who have proven to be able to do what the Atreides cannot.
House Harkonnen: Under the rule of Baron Javelle, a military mastermind who lacks social tact and graces, he may not be as sociable as Augustus but he is a more well rounded and firm individual. He is a strong and cunning warrior as well as being a brilliant general, he has successfully lead the raids on numerous Atreides trade stations and military targets off their capital of Caladan and is right now overseeing the spice mining on Arrakis but under the super vision of the emperor and his Sardaukar forces.
House Corrino: Currently ruled by the young emperor Safiq and he has recently inherited the throne from his father Shanamar who died of unknown causes but his son rules the empire with cold and decisive action, he is a manipulative man but does what causes the empire to prevail and assure his own dominance. He relies heavily on his Sardaukar forces to keep the peace of the empire and even uses them to enforce his will over the spice trade, he highly favors Javelle at the moment as he is at face value the most loyal retainer he has outside of his own house.
House Magneu (Mag-nee-oo)(OC house): This house is one shadowed in mystery as a newly discovered planet was found in the universe and the emperor had opened negotiations with the currently unknown leadership of Magneu, little is known about them other then they are human and that their resources seem dedicated to scientific studies and have made numerous technological breakthroughs in both military and civilian facets. The house's leader is unknown other then that they presume there to be more then one, and that they have recently risen in power far too quickly to be liked by the other houses and with their mysterious side people treat them with a mixture of hate, respect, and fear.
Now I can make a various set of characters for any rps in this 'universe' off shoot of Dune, I'd really like to be a Sardaukar myself and maybe have a general or someone of rank with a political figure like the Duke or baron's daughter or maybe a Sardaukar x Fremen rp for a prisoner abuse to romance style rp either way. I like this universe I have made for Dune and would like to rp it, if you would also like to add any houses to the rp just let me know and we can discuss it thoroughly.

Wow! I love the look of this. I remember watching a few of the TV series here and there, read the first book, and played the Emperor: Battle for Dune game and I have to say, the topic intrigued me. I would have loved to be a part of this, but I don't feel my knowledge of the Dune-iverse is knowledgable enough to pull off an RP, that and I'm already busy with some of the others I have going on as is. But I just wanted to say that the interest is out there so keep looking. This looks like it would make a pretty cool RP!
PS: The Guild is my favorite, or the Tleilax :P

Ya I remember playing that game it was lots o fun but the Sardaukar and the Fremen were always my favorite, never liked the Theilaxu but the Guild was fun with their tanks :P
