I was thinking of a wound severe enough to have an impact on the character. But being that this is ten years after the events of the series, the character physically would mostly be recovered. Or advances in medical technology could've helped the character?
This is why I asked, so that I can establish my limits. I'm not going to go and make a character that doesn't make any sense. If I do make a character with some sort of life-changing injury in their background, I'd make it work.

My last idea will be something that I am not entirely sure it will work out to be a good RP but it was suggested to me by someone so I will throw it out there. This story will take place during the Edo period of Japan. The nation of Britannia has launched a covert operation slow destroying every city in their path for an unknown reason. Britannia seems like they are holding the upper hand until a man wearing a magical armor called a Knightmare. These knightmare suits each possess a magical affinity over the forces of nature. Like I said I do not see much potential since most Code Geass fans are mecha battling fans but if anyone enjoys reading that manga then feel free to give your opinion.
Okay, those are all my ideas for a good RP. I will give you 24 hours from now before I post an Interest Check in Casual with a poll to vote on the story we want to do. So feel free to give your opinion of which story you want to do.

I agree with vance. 1 and 2 though number 2 would be slightly easier to set up since it has a greater amount of present information.

I believe they are on the first pages.
- The first idea was to start the present Code Geass series at the Battle of Shinjuku with the fact that Lelouch and Suzaku are dead.
- Idea 1.5 is taking place when Britannia first invaded and it involves a world where Suzaku does not kill his father and holding a war between Japan and Britannia.
- The second idea is skipping ahead ten years after the current Code Geass time line and handing a three way war between a secret terrorist organization, Britannia, and the UNF.
- The third is the idea based off of Renya of Darkness adaptation.
