Nidoking took damage from giga impact so Gray returned him to his pokeball and send out Scyther in his place. Scyther first increased his attack with swords dance and then used x-scissor on Hydreigon. Lapras had luckily managed to avoid the hyperbeam and returned the favor by launching a hyper beam at Dragonite.

Vaporeon took damage from the Dragonite's Hyper Beam, forcing Violet to return the pokemon back to its ball. Dragonite managed to avoid the attack and charged at Hydreigon again using Dragon Claw. She then threw another pokeball from which Gengar appeared. "Use Hypnosis on both pokemon, Gengar!"

Dragonite and Hydreigon began using their most powerful attack. Outrage.
Gold cursed as Typhlosion was knocked out and so was Red's Pikachu. Gold sent out Sudowoodo to use Mimic

"I might not have a choice." Gray thought. "Guys if hypnosis or mimic doesn't work return your pokemon, cause in that case I am telling Lapras to use perish song."

Gold said "Wait one sec........those pokemon.....That Dragonite belongs to Lance!" Sudowoodo charged at Dragonite. THe two pokemon's outrage attacks began hitting each other.
Red sent out Poliwrath and he said "Blizzard....." Poliwrath blasts Hydreigon with a cold blast of snow.

Since Gengar's Hypnosis didn't seem to have any effect, Violet agreed to Gray's idea and returned her pokemon back to their pokeballs.

"Don't worry Gold, Perish song won't hurt them, it will only cause any pokemon that hears it including the user, unless they have sound proof, to faint after some time." Gray explained waiting for him and Red to return their pokemon. "And after they fainted I'll simply have Alakzam teleporting them to either Prof. Oak's lab or a Pokecenter."
