The human petted him as Austin predicted he would, idly as he enjoyed the feeling of being pet, the cat wondered why he had been spending so much time around this bar specially. It had already been two sunrise yet for some odd reason Austin felt somewhat drawn to this place, as if it was calling, as if he knew that to gain was here.

This feeling had only really come around a few days ago, ever since that incident. Ever since then Austin had felt the oddest of sensation, when ever he came into contact with someone, like right now as the man petted him, he felt as it he could simply fall into them. It was almost akin to walking around a pool of water, you were so close that you knew with just a simple fall you would suddenly be all wet.

Of course cats hate being wet, and if not for the petting Austin would have done his best to simply try to never touch another creature in order to never feel that weird sensation.Still the petting, Austin could not live without the petting.

Speaking of the petting why has it stopped... Austin idly looked up towards the human that had been petting him as the human began to make even more noise.

"Meow!" Austin annoyed at the man's laziness angrily tried to remind the man what he had been doing, the man seemed to have gotten the message restarted his petting and Austin out his head back down. Ah, the petting.

"Sounds good then!" Geoff walked back into the bar and went straight for Jones. "Hey there buddy! Hope bus'ness is good today. Anyway, I want two beers please!" Geoff threw down the money for what it would cost him. "Good thing I love ya Jones, I don't give my last bit a' beggin' money just to anyone." On his way out he saw another prostitute that got him all happy. He sized her up with his eyes before saying, "Hey babe, what's yer favorite sized penis?" She got a really annoyed look in her eyes before she flipped him off. "That small eh?" Geoff bolted with laughter before he made his way outside again.

Walking outside Geoff walked over to Jack and sat next to him offering him the beer. Looking at the cat he fished around in his pocket until her found a piece of beef jerky he stole from the corner store he bought his porno's from, tossing it to the cat.

"This beer stuff. Never quite does the trick. Makes ya think happy crap ever now an then, but the sad crap comes back evertime! It understands us though, knows how we need somethin to hold. It's like a little family ya know?"

Gary seemed pretty shaken up about his experience so Sofiya didn't want to push the issue. She knew that he would eventually open up. She was very fortunate to know Gary, he treated her like she was a person and not just a "tranny hooker" like most people would say. Although the discriminating remarks didn't really bother her anymore, it really felt nice to have someone who accepted Sofiya as Sofiya. She made herself a bit more comfortable before responding. "Business has been good lately so I can't complain. I'd even be willing to give you a free session if you'd like. You know I'm very good at massage, I could help you relax." Sofiya would never give anyone else a free ride but Gary had been good to her and given that she could get as much business as she wanted now she was willing to let a friend slide on payment.

He backed up against the counter, to have the shotgun in reach, and just looked around the bar, keeping his eye on "The Fighter" and his left hand near the shotgun. With his right hand, "Hunter" grabbed the glass Jones got for him a little while back, and took a sip, then letting it down on the counter again. "This seems like a pretty nice deal. I get to bust people up, and in return i get a safeplace from the cops and pretty much anyone that might want to find me. And i ain't forgett'n' how this place is also a bar. Never a shortage o' booze fer me this way." "Hunter" relaxed, being a lot safer now.

Jack's last joint burnt out and he tossed the remnants on the ground. He reached for the beer, twisted the top open, and took a drink before answering. "I wouldn't know much about family. And what i do know isn't worthy of beer." Jack looked down and watched the cat next to him as he picked the jerky up and fed it to it from his hand. "My parents left me with nothing besides the constant urge to smoke some meth" Jack laughed and took a drink of the beer.

"thanks for this, by the way. I was having such a great god damn day till I came here." Jack smiled and leaned his head back against the wall. he leaned towards the man and spoke "I'm Jack by the way," He took another swig and leaned his head back again. "I promise I'm not always such a downer."

"BUT OPEN TO SHOW THE PATH TO VICTORY!", Joe yelled out, echoing through the bar like the distant roar of thunder, as Magunzar opened up into another epic scene of poorly animated action sequences. Episode 2 was on now, and the Evil Spider Empire had raised up from the depths of time and space a mecha with FOUR ARMS. How can you even conceive of beating FOUR ARMS?! He pressed pause on Magunzar for the moment, and stood up, looking around the bar to see exactly who yelled that into the bar, a frantic look on his face.

Oh man oh man oh man, is there gonna be someone else he can watch Magunzar with?! This is gonna be the BEST. DAY. EVER.

"You've got a contact?" said Lex, "I've got a contact, too. Ross wanted me to give Eli this trinket..." Lex reached inside his pocket and was a bit confused to find it wasn't there. He set the bottle down and began to go through his pockets, dropping their contents on the floor. A piece of candy, a rubber band, a few hundred dollars...he didn't care about any of that. Figuring he may have slipped the locket into his shoe for safekeeping, Lex took his shoes off. But all that accomplished was to display his smelly feet to Eli.

"Well damn, that's a sad story Jack! I aint ne'er met nobody that aint even had a family at least once! Well let me tell ya, they are just the best things you could have. They help ya in need, they make ya laugh, ya pick each other up... I sure do miss mine. I got in trouble a long time ago when I was even young'r than you. I ended up in prison fer a while an when I got out my fam'ly was no where to be found. That's how i'm homeless today! Homeless ol' Geoff just all by himself... If only there was some way we could get new fam'ly's ya know?" Geoff's eyes trailed off for a bit. "That's it!" Geoff bolted with a bit of energy. "We could get new fam'ly's!" Geoff began to think to himself.

With Geoff's new powers he could turn into any pimp on the street and get any hooker around! With that, he could use hookers to make money, with money they could afford a small little apartment.. Maybe even some cat food for the cat.

Geoff slapped his arm around Jacks shoulders giving him a tight squeeze. "We'll become pimps my boy! And with the money. We can be a fam'ly! You, me... and the cat!"

Fighter was reconsidering his decision given the reaction it got as the anime freak popped up and looked about so franticly. Oh well, perhaps if this was a PVP it would be good to team up. He waved the kid over with his shield strapped arm as he took a booth while setting the bat on the table openly and pointed to the barkeep.
"Two house brews and a pair of sodas."
He pointed to the kid and the bar to indicate he should grab them before coming over, he could only hope the other understood the message. While the kid was coming over, he pulled up the quest menu by holding a finger together and highlighted the quest map and made a marker for the garage to head back there later.

*I wonder if he knows the theme song to Magunzar Z, the short-lived series that came out two years after the tragic cancellation of the first series? Aw, man, that song was awesome! Not as good as the original, but still good!*

Contrary to his belief, Magunzar Z was actually a much better made series, with actual plot, production values, decent animation, and a voice acting crew that didn't sound like they all had speech impediments. BUT IT DIDN'T MATTER. He leapt up onto a table and down from it in his transit, mostly out of sheer exuberant energy, and walked on over to the bar, grabbing the beer and soda once they were served and heading back over to the VCR, nodding to Fighter.

True men of manliness and justice only needed a single nod to acknowledge each other, after all.
