I just want to check to see how far I can stretch the boundaries that have been set and test to see how much freedom I get for originality in a standard WOTM contest. Plus, these have slight relevance to my entry.

To Those I'm Rping With Currently!

    Looking for more 1x1 RPs.

You can stretch them pretty far. Just stick to the "Fonz Cool" rule and make sure that whatever component you're using does actually end up in the story. So if you're using "role reversal" as an example, you need some dastardly demonic elements be "good" and some holy elements be "evil". It doesn't matter how or why it is done, so long as it is done.

Would be interested if not for genre, and role reversal.

Sucks though, I had a really great idea for this one.

How does genre and role reversal stop you from doing your idea, exactly?

The idea was quite modern, only would make sense in today's world.

Also, Kagamine has just reminded me that I only need 2 of the components, so I may end up doing this anyways.

I suggest a close look at the rules and guidelines before you get too far into writing, though, before another misconception like this arises. Be sure to read both the rules for this month on the OP and in general on the link provided.

Listening to Borderlands OST for writing motivation.

I'm lovingthis category, as it caters to my style perfectly.

In fact most of my writing fits into this.

    I'm definitely in.

Oh this looks good. But I do have a question. The Sin Lust is normally a lust for someone else and that normally means that you lust after that person. But could it also be a Lust for power. A Lust to kill, A Lust to get rid of something that the person does not feel belongs in the world ?. Just curious.

Also Can we use more than one sin in our submissions ?

Does it have to be single space or double ?

GENERATION 12: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.

Lust for power sounds like Greed to me. Lust to kill sounds like Wrath. If you're trying to subtly use a different sin, just use that sin. Lust as a sin generally means, yes, lust for other people. The others you mentioned, as I said, are just another way to phrase some of the other sins.

Of course. The components are only minimums- you're welcome to go beyond.

Well... we're not typing Word documents, here. You'll be formatting the entry in your PM and they will be displayed in the OP of the voting threads (you may want to check out previous voting threads for an example of how the contest works). I don't think RPG really has a such thing as single or double spaced, so whatever you format it as in Word won't make a difference when you copy/paste it to the Guild, if I'm interpreting this correctly.

Also, pro-tip: You might not want to focus on formatting if you're drafting your submission in Word. When you copy/paste from Word to the Guild, it loses all it's formatting, so what happens is people have to go through the trouble of re-formatting everything in their PM's, or sometimes forget to re-format at all, creating issues when things like character thoughts (italicized) show up as plain text in the voting threads. What I suggest is to type the BB coding in Word as you write, so that, when you copy/paste, it will already be formatted. Small things like bolds and italics you should have no problem typing yourself as that coding is pretty simple, but if you plan on changing the whole font or color of it you might want to save that till the end, when you've brought it to RPG and are sprucing up your entry in the PM editor for your final submission. That's what I do whenever I draft something on Word that's meant to eventually be posted on RPG.
