[AAaaaaahhh ~ aaaaah!] The latin chorus erupts in the background, announcing that something epic is about to take place... [dum.. Dum.. DUM!] The drums build up as you see people in incredibly bulky and impractical armors, decorated like rainbow christmas trees, fight. [uhh-- ah! *grunt*] Sounds of steel clashing and strangely homoerotic grunts permeate the atmosphere.. Scantily clad women in chainmail bikini pose around a bit.. [Aaaahhh ~ Uhm!]

After shhpeaking about some seven ancient dragon crystal scrolls, the man turns to you, waves his staff.. "It is up to YOU to desshide the fate of the kingdom!" *TRUMPETS* The main theme plays, backed up by the latin chorus from before. The camera rotates around a bit, showcasing a few castles, some ninjas fighting and explosions.

Heeeey! ^_^ First of all, welcome to my humble RP. I'll be your GM for the time being ~ ! A-and i'll cater to your every wis.. *glare* ... [i know what you're thinking you PERV (¬､¬) ~ and and let's have fun together!

Glad you asked about the premise. It's a MMORP [Massively Multiplayer Online RolePlay!]. Now. To clarify a few central points -> this does not mean the RP will contain several Jiggawatts of players (THINK McFLY THINK!), each adventuring on his own like a giant megasandbox. Not quite. It simply means the progression, "gameplay" and various tropes and story elements will resemble that of a MMO. Players will interact with each other and with NPCs just as they would in any other freeform RP. The only notable difference is that the GM will lead you down a series of "questlines" that will determine the final outcome of the plot, and the fate of your characters! Also, you will progress through leveeels (〜￣▽￣)〜 ~ Dont worry about it too much though. We wont be rolling any dice or use complicated number crunching. GM got it all in here! *taps self on head*

Oh and just one more thing - there will be a central party of 3-5 people. The MMO element comes in play with the fact that anyone - especially people who aren't in the main party but kinda caught glimpse of the RP and kinda wanna cooperate but not really commit - can, at any time, take on the role of any NPC that is currently in play (ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL). If a certain applicant does this fairly often and performs well, he/she may receive a pRRRROMOTION and become a member of the main cast. There are a few exceptions and quid pro quos here as sometimes, my excellence (the GM, yours truly) will have a plan set up ahead in which case certain NPCs will be locked and unplayable. That or you will have to follow the script *nods* ~

× GM posts will either be "storymode" or will refer to a specific player, which will be marked appropriately. Players are to proceed according to the _:"push" that gm posts provide. Your creative freedom will, however, remain unscathed! I will even take your ideas and such into consideration and

× Powerplay and godmode are generally forbidden, though the bar against NPCs is lowered considerably.

× Try to be original with your characters. Dont blatantly export or make uninspired Mary - Sues. That makes GM a sad GM ~ (个_个)

× Try to work together ~ ! When you have a dialogue between two characters or the course of action is clearly set, you can make a
_ collaborative post (meaning you and your partner work out the entire dialogue via PM/IM and the post the whole thingie).

× Remember that you have a purpose and mission in this RP. And no im afraid it isn't 42 (sowwy ^_^). It is actually to produce as many paperclips a
_ i mean u- umm.. to survive and make it to the end! Meaning your actions should in some meaningful way, be aligned with that given objective! That is not to say
_.they overrule other directives (such as staying in character, having fun, you know. The usual).
