Euripides stands at a little over 1.8 meters in height and weighs in at 68 kilograms. He has moderately long auburn hair which is usually kept neat and smooth, and is tied into a short braid below his neck - he prefers to keep his hair out of his forehead when possible. He has a sharp and angular face which has a pleasant sort of countenance to it - he is usually seen with an easy smile gracing his lips. He has a lean and somewhat stocky body structure, with some corded musculature. He has a somewhat 'dusky' complexion due to his mixed Romani heritage. His eyes are amber and generally low and relaxed.Euripides was born a citizen of Israel and lived a rather unremarkable life, being drafted into the military at 18 and serving for three years, then voluntarily entering into permanent service for an additional three years and making the rank of master sergeant in that time. When he was 24, a convoy he was a part of ran across several IEDs, which wounded and killed several soldiers. Euripides was transported to a nearby field hospital where he was declared dead on arrival due to internal hemorrhaging, and his body was shipped to a morgue to be interred eight days later.
Three years later he was discovered, very much alive, in North-West Hungary. He had somehow transitioned from a decorated serviceman to a middleman of the black market human-trafficking industry, serving as a go-between organizer for a chain leading from Southern Asia and leading into Europe, where it diverged into several branches - one of which led to Britain. As part of a crackdown effort in conjunction with the Hungary Intelligence Agency, the SIS sent a 00 agent to apprehend Euripides for questioning and interrogation, with the ultimate goal of replacing him with a saboteur in order to undermine and subvert the trafficking industry.
This plan backfired almost immediately - The 00 agent sent to apprehend Euripides wound up chasing him across the city of Győr (particularly the rooftops of several urban areas) in an incident which caused over twenty million fortint in public property damage (an estimate of some hundred thousand USD) and made headline news locally for the next several days. Euripides ultimately evaded the 00 agent and reported in to his cohorts, informing the local trafficking network of the crackdown. His partners decided to cut their losses and attempted to kill him. This turned out to be a mistake.
Over the course of the next seventy-two hours, in a series of events which remain classified, Euripides and the 00 agent originally sent to apprehend him systematically dismantled the local human trafficking industry, resulting in several safehouses being raided, more than a dozen underworld dealers being killed, and two market ringleaders being captured and incarcerated in secure detention facilities. By that point, Euripides had unofficially defected to the SIS, and was granted amnesty for his prior crimes as a human trafficker given the work he did to expose and ultimately dismantle the black market network. Two months later he was officially instated as an agent, earning 00 status just under two years afterwards. As the newest 00 agent currently active, and given his sketchy past (including the three year interlude wherein he was supposedly dead, the details of which remain classified), a careful eye is being kept on him, and there is frequent talk of making him into a probationary agent rather than allowing him to retain 00 status.Euripides maintains a relaxed and easy-going demeanor at most times, and has shown remarkable resistance to anxiety and stress while under duress. While not charismatic in the traditional sense, he has an air of reasonableness and a calm demeanor that makes him easy to like, or at least to listen to. He takes nothing personally and is an expert at maneuvering his way through negotiations and conversations to reach an advantageous position. While laid back, he is extremely pragmatic, and his friendly approach masks an unfettered mind - he doesn't mind fighting dirty, hurting or possibly even killing friends or close peers, torture or much of anything else. In short, his friendly mask hides the mind of a cool and collected killer. He does genuinely treat everyone he knows as a friend, but he also treats them as a business partner at the same time - he likes to mix his business and pleasure, so to speak. Euripides maintains a high level of overall efficacy at all times - his training and history has lent him a number of skillsets which allow him to act effortlessly most of the time. While this does make him very talented, he has a serious problem taking things seriously, and while it is hard to throw him out of his comfort zone, once done he becomes a wreck. He enjoys crossword and Sudoku puzzles, as well as writing epigrams. He is a freerunning and parkour artist, and was severely disappointed to learn that Britain has banned both in several areas due to concern and duress it caused in the populace who witnessed either. He is a fervent player of Go, and is an expert (by no means a master) player. Although not particularly good at it, he has an interest in archery. He also enjoys fine cheeses and gourmet cuisine (and, strangely enough, has a ravenous lust for gourmet candy corn of all things). Finally, he reserves unadulterated glee for martial throw techniques and for using them on people, preferably at high altitudes.
He doesn't like people who are passive aggressive, and he isn't particularly fond of breaking promises he has made (though he will for the sake of an assignment). He hates showing up late and stuffy or overly formal dress - he will protest at length to anything fancier than a suit. He also dislikes alcohol, loose women the color yellow.Skilled freerunner and parkour artist (suspected to have been cultivated during his four year long 'death'), and he is an expert at infiltration because of it. He has formal military training in CQC, and he has extensive training in Malasian Silat. He is also a decent knife-thrower, although he rarely if ever makes use of this skill - he claims that throwing knives are unreliable at the distances and speeds he often finds himself engaging opponents at. He has limited training in Judo, with his education in the art seemingly exclusive to several throws. In his own words, 'I like throwing people.' He has extensive military experience and is a fine shot, but he is no marksman.-Miscellaneous: Scarring from an old injury on his neck renders him incapable of fully turning his head to the right.Euripides will often underestimate opponents and situations, or fail to take threats with the seriousness they deserve - this only serves to make it easier to catch him offguard. When surprised and thrown outside of his comfort zone, Euripides can fall into a spiraling wreck of frustration that can distract him significantly and detracts from his abilities to a great extent. He also relies heavily on his personal maneuverability and martial training in fights to bring him victory - he is a decent shot, but his strength does not lie in firefights or shootouts. He will also, more often than not, kill or permanently disable targets if they cannot be negotiated with, and he will always prefer open negotiation to starting a fight, resulting in a lack of initiative in tense situations.
