Death tensed and crept foreward and counted, "There's 6 of them, Kenta.." Then when one drew to close he threw a sharp knife into it's eye and it let out a screech and tried to pull it out.

Kenta took the advantage of it being weakened and dashed forward, driving his sword into it's chest. It reacted quickly, though, and tried to smack him away.

Death shot after him and crept up onto it's back and drove his dagger into his other eye and drove it deep untill the hilt was touching the skin of the hidious creature. It's scream was sharp and peircing and it clawed at his eye after Death ripped his dagger out and dropped to the ground. The other members of the Guard started attacking the others.

Kenta pulled his sword out and sliced it across the chest of another redhat before it could attack him.

Death shot out after another one after the blind one dropped to the ground. He sliced deep wounds but not deep enough to hit the iron like bones. Soon he had killed 2 of them. He and his companions celebrated as the last Red Hat dropped and they all walked the horses. Death stretched, unaware of the creeping Red Hat behind him. He started towards them and soon felt pain seep into his back from the neck down to his lower back. He slowly turned around to see the Red Hat leering down at him, one of the sharp limbs they used for weapons was coated in blood.. His blood... He cried out and dropped to the ground on his stomach.

Kenta's head wipped around. "Death!" he cried. He charged at the ugly thing and sliced at it's neck. It screeched as it's blood gushed from the wound. Kenta dropped down beside Death and looked at the gaping wound on his back, shaking.

Death looked up at his Mentor and tensed a couple times, "It hurts..."

Kenta nodded. "I know..." he wanted to kiss him and tell him it was okay but he couldn't in front of the other guard members. He picked Death up and shouted out to the others. "Keep patroling. I'll take him back." he quickly mounted onto his horse and put Death infront of him.

bic// Death winced when his blood soaked back touched Kenta's and he whispered shakily, "K-Kenta... It's cold..." He shook.

bic//Kenta took his cloak off and wrapped it around Death. He put the horse into a full gallop down the road back to the fortress. "I'm sorry."
