Anyway, this kind or quest allows anyone to pop in and give their two cents and/or vote on a particular action.

I see. Well, putting it in simple terms...

• The players don't do any rolling, that's for the person running the game.
• The players instead, choose how to use the dice.
• For example...
  
  • Let's say you have 4d4 worth of scientists.
  • You decide to allocate 1d4 to research one thing.
  • And allocate 3d4 to research something else.
  
  
• Most of the system means nothing to the players themselves, so you don't have to read all of it. Just what matters to you.

Is that good enough?
